East London producer Masro is quickly becoming one of the most popular and sought-after producers in the Grime scene, having worked with the likes of Flowdan, Wiley, Milli Major, Meridian Dan, Ruby Lee Ryder, and Boy Better Know's Shorty, to name a few.

Due to popular demand, his much sought-after and aptly-titled "Yuk Riddim" is finally seeing the light of day on Triangulum. This riddim is nothing but pure filth, with its warping bass and monstrous horn stabs, and has been tearing down radio sets and raves for a hot minute. Pure screwface business.

The B-side "On It" is more dancefloor-orientated, showcasing his versatility as a producer, with shuffling 2 step patterns, layered pads and a sexy female vocal… One for the ladies.

Continuing with our recent output of weighty riddims this year, Oxford's DJ Trends is next up to bat for Triangulum.

Pump It Up has been a staple tune in most Grime DJs' sets over te past few months, and rightly so! It's even received a vocal version from the hotly-tipped Nottingham MC Mez (watch this space). The perfect tool to inject hype into any DJ set.

Virus showcases a more melodic side from Trends, but retains enough weight and power to keep the energy levels high.

Triangulum's tenth instalment comes courtesy of east London's Darkness, who releases the much-hyped "Eski Thug" EP on the label.

With support from Logan Sama, Spooky, Sir Sypro, Skelecta, the Boxed family, Bloodline's Doe Boy, and a whole load of key DJs within the scene, "Eski Thug" is set to become one of the go-to-riddims in order to leng down a dance.

Triangulum's 11th release sees label boss DJ Cable team up with Nottingham's Mez, who has been going from strength to strength over the past year, with countless radio and live appearances, solid releases, and recently being crowned "Next In Grime" by BBC 1Xtra.

"One Line Flows" is pretty self explanatory - Mez flexes his verbal dexterity and catchy one line flows over a heavyweight instrumental from DJ Cable. Label boss DJ Cable is back with his first full release of 2016, featuring West London’s Ghostly on vocals.

Ghostly is quickly making a name for himself within the Grime scene, having received support from Rinse, 1Xtra, Radar Radio, and Compex Magazine, who recruited him to be apart of their “Grime Timewarp” project.

Taking inspiration from the early days of Grime production, In ‘Ere is a straight up club banger, pairing DJ Cable’s ultra rowdy “Ganon” instrumental with Ghostly’s rapid fire flow and endless punchlines. Support has already come in from Channel 4, Radio 1 & 1Xtra, Rinse, Radar an more, with the instrumental already been battered by countless DJs within the scene. Expect this track to be a staple favourite in DJs’ bags across this year.

Off the back of two solid releases from Darkness, Triangulum are pleased finally announce the long-awaited vocal release of one of last year’s biggest Grime instrumentals, “Eski Thug”. With support already coming in from Rinse FM, BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra and Radar Radio, and a video forthcoming, expect this to be one of biggest vocals of the year.

“I decided to get the Eski Thug instrumental vocalled because the instrumental itself was doing rounds on radio and in raves” says Darkness. “I wanted to be able to get more than one MC on it because I felt that there's too many sick MCs at the moment that I rate and want to work with, and being able to at least have an 8 bar from them would be cold.”

Re-named “Arrogant Stance”, and featuring 11 (yes, ELEVEN) of the hottest MCs in the Grime scene right now, the gas levels have been turned up to the max. AJ Tracey, PK, Saint P, Lyrical Strally, Big Zuu, Kwam, Darkos, Nico Lindsay, Elf Kid, Hilts & Ghostly all link up to spit their best 8 bars, with Kwam providing the hook, letting you all know who’s running things, and that they’re fully on their arrogant stance. Each of the 11 MCs are already making waves in their own right, so bringing them together on one track is definitely a power move for Darkness.

“I jumped on the arrogant stance project because everyone knows about the eski thug instrumental,” says Lyrical Strally of YGG. “I heard it on our Rinse FM set and just had to jump on it when Darkness hollered”.

“When I got told to be on the riddim I was excited. The mandem haven't got that many songs together so whenever we do, do one, it comes out crazy' adds Big Zuu.

“A tune like this may never happen again with the same line up” states Darkness. “Being able to record it is something of a personal achievement”.

Darkness - Arrogant Stance (Eski Thug) (TR016)

Bristol has always been a hotbed of great producers, and since Triangulum is all about championing new talent, it’s only right we venture over the South West of the UK and snap up Bazza for a release.

Known for his haunting riddims, he brings us two dark and moody cuts. “Dead Caller” is as gritty as the title suggests, with a twisted vocal sample complete with eerie strings and a bassline that’s pure crud, which is not only weighty, but also wouldn’t sound out of place in a Resident Evil game.

“Black Edge” takes a more melodic approach, with some excellent string work and shuffling drum patterns, whilst still keeping it dancefloor friendly. Fans of experimental and Instrumental Grime will definitely appreciate these.

Fresh from releasing an exceedingly good collection of Grime edits & refixes over the past few months, the Triangulum Free series switches style and brings you a slice of bass-heavy goodness from the elusive GHSTGHSTGHST.

Taking inspiration from Youngstar's seminal Grime classic, he updates it for 2016 turning it into a 4x4 stomper, complete with Stormzy quotables, that's guaranteed to set any dancefloor alight.

Kicking up the pace this summer, Triangulum is proud to announce Habitat & Neffa-T’s debut release. Hailing from Bournemouth, the pair as quickly rising up through the ranks, having been supported by the likes of Trends, Spooky, DJ Cable & more.

“Warlord” is like a muay thai kick to the face, packing a punch with chopped up jungle-esque drums and bouncy rhythm, complete with a David Rodigan vocal sample.

“Silver Mask” strips everything back, driven by a warping sub bass, skippy percussion hits, computer bleeps and vocal stabs, reminiscent of the early proto Grime days. Heavyweight business.

Flukes - I Have Nothing (wgwn Edit) (TRFREE008)

As we already mentioned with Bazza's release a few months ago, there is definitely hotbed of talent in the South West of the UK. This time around, we bring you a solid 2 track offering from Exeter’s Mere Formality.

Having already received support from the likes of Plastician, Spooky, DJ Cable, Gundam, Iglew, DJ SagePay, Strict Face, Fellony, Lockhar, and Classical Trax, his stripped back-yet weighty style of production is starting to turn heads. On top of that, he also knocks out some really sick edits and bootlegs too!

“Poltergeist” certainly has that ghost-like feel to it. Hollow and minimal, but still retaining a skippy vibe, complete with an ethereal synth breakdown halfway through.

“Slingshot” brings it back to the dancefloor, with a huge growling square wave bassline and Eski high notes, complete with a rumbling low end. Top quality stuff from the Exeter-based producer.

Following on from “In ‘Ere”, which became a staple tune across radio, raves, and many a DJ set this year, Triangulum Recordings boss & 1Xtra’s DJ Cable teams up once again with the newly-named GHSTLY XXVII (formerly Ghostly, now pronounced “Ghostly Two Seven”) for another weighty banger to round off what’s been a consistent year for the label.

Going in over another DJ Cable production, “Ride To This” is all about hustling and striving to achieve success.

“This one’s for the grafters”, says GHSTLY. “I heard Cable’s beat and it gave me that ‘get money’ vibe. Shout out to everybody putting in work from the self-employed to the office workers. Whatever you’re doing, do it well, smash your goals and keep moving”.

One of the leading figures within the Jersey Club scene, TR!CK$ comes through and delivers a heavyweight remix of arguably one of the biggest tracks of the year, for the latest installment on the Triangulum Free series.

Taking DJ Khaled’s summer anthem, TR!CK$ adds his own signature flavour, taking the energy levels up tenfold. The end result is a quality slice of Jersey Club music that will duppy any dancefloor.

“The original song sparked a lot of inspiration because of how the song would bounce and attack at the same time”, says TR!CK$. “Once I got a flow I just went with it. I could tell it will hype up a party in no time”.

We most certainly agree.

Kicking off 2017 is another solid release from label head DJ Cable.

Taking inspiration from the sounds of older Wiley riddims such as Apocalypto, movie soundtracks, and ancient civilizations (large up the history channel), Cable has delved into the world of percussive drum patterns and samples, and concocted a four track EP of Tribal-influenced Grime instrumentals (all named after ancient civilzations) that definitely pack a punch on the dance floor, with enough space for MCs to ride over.

Featuring some stellar synth work and string melodies, skippy drums, plus a few old school Grime clicks, he’s concocted banger that sounds part wifey riddim, and part sci-fi soundtrack.

Kicking off the Triangulum Free series for 2017 is DJ Cable, who has updated Cndo's South African house track (and adopted UK Funky favourite) into a weighty, club roller, that's now available to you, for free!

"The original has always been a personal favourite" says Cable, "and after rediscovering it on my laptop the other month, I decided to give a slight rework to make it bang that little bit more."
