Tribalismo Records was founded deep in the jungles of the Amazon. When tribal warfare between groups of cannibals reached breaking point, the ritualised shaministic practice of Santeria was used in order to appease the Gods and bring about glory in war. The intense spiritual drumming from these ceremonies was encountered by explorers and philanthropists Vincent Sebastian and Dante Rivera. They were captured and endured great physical and mental deprivation for 8 years under the will of the tribal shaman until finally they were granted clemency and allowed to leave the tribe. With them they took the beginnings of an idea which was based on bringing the tribal sounds they encountered to electronic music lovers around the world. This idea became TRIBALISMO RECORDS.
