We are pleased to introduce our new single coming out on 16th of February featuring ever productive Guiding Star Orchestra from Denmark and young, upcoming, Jamaican roots artist Azizzi Romeo on “In Jah Sight” riddim. Coming out on both vinyl and as a high quality digital release. The song contains conscious lyrics on top of a meditating steppas riddim with beautiful arrangements from GSO horn section and include an amazing dub version made by the great Roberto Sanchez from A-Lone Ark Music Studio. Two wicked collaboration on both sides of heavy slab of 7” record!
Song is an uplifting statement about putting trust in your faith. “When thirst cover your mouth, Jah will send the Rain!” A strong message from a young Artist who’s ready to take over the world of conscious roots reggae music. This is the first time Orchestra is doing a collaboration with a vocalist and we have many more collaborations planned for the future as well as some brand new solo material coming this year. Unfold is the beginning of the next phase in Bukkha's musical journey.  Its purpose is to explore different territories of sound and expose the people to a variety of tempos and styles.

Kicking it off Planet I-N-I is a slow and low riddim that blends roots and future sounds carried by atmospherics and textures. 

On the flip we have revered author and dub poet Roger Robinson taking us into the depths of reality. The story is accompanied by a minimal beat with echoing stabs and a pulsating sub.  

Enjoy the journey in the first chapter of the Unfold series.

Upfull Melody is the first single from a forthcoming LP by a collective of musicians called Guiding Star Orchestra based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The track and the album was recorded in the summer of 2016 completely without the use of digital technology. The mix was then done from multitrack 2 inch tape to ¼ tape, and the mastering from ¼ tape to ½ tape. When you record without the possibility of post-editing and cutting, you have to focus on the most important thing – which is the vibe. This has been the philosophy of the recording sessions. Upfull Melody is offered in respect of the strong roots and culture scene, and it is our wish that it can also be used for Soundsystem dances that focuses on a strong positive meditation.
