For the 30th release on his evergreen Trick imprint, Patrick Topping continues his form for unearthing fresh talent by recruiting producer Dean Lindsay for his first EP. Turning in a pair of uplifting, feel-good house tracks, Lindsay’s production chops are on full display across the party-starting two-tracker. Leading the release, title-track ‘Music Baby’ sees a whirlwind of bright synths and bass hits colliding with robust, crunching drums and vocal samples for a resolutely upbeat affair. ‘Party People’ sees Lindsay marry shuffling drum hits and bouncing low-end for an equally infectious track, rounding out an impressive, smile-inducing debut.

Next up on Sleazy Deep and their hot new label series Sleazy Tech comes London based duo K & K.

They have been gaining momentum for their productions and already signed to D-Vine Sounds, Nervous Records & Mark Radford’s Audio Rehab & Plus Recordings and now with their Sleazy Tech debut Peaceful Crowd. After the lads gave the original out to a select few,  there has been so much buzz surrounding the release.  ATFC, Grant Nelson, Low Steppa & The Shapeshifters all asking for a copy personally and their good friend Sam Divine claiming it as her Ibiza & festival anthem for 2016.

With its very well known M1 piano sample that we all know and love, plus the genius use of sampling Steve “Silk” Hurley’s voice from an old interview about house music and that it’s always had a peaceful crowd. K & K really deliver an anthem for today’s dance-floor, 90’s & jacked up tech house for the masses which will be getting smashed for months if not years to come !!! To close this killer package off we have another belter from the lads in Can You. With it’s moody jackin’ bassline, catchy vocal hooks and driving house beats it completes this must have release for any big house & tech DJ.

James Burton has already released certified bangers on labels like Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two, Skream’s Of Unsound Mind and Kaluki Music, and returns to Street Tracks after an appearance on the ‘Imprint Vol. 4’ EP in 2019 with a three tracker of contemporary house music.

Subby bass, tight swinging beats and slick synth stabs form the basis of title track ‘Need U So Bad’, which is abundant with energy and spirit, whilst ‘Expression’ is a funky and playful cut that certainly packs a punch, resplendent with vocal chops and precision drums.  Closing the EP, ‘Here’s What You Are’ doesn’t drop the energy levels one jot, with another sure fire winner, serving up a sweet vocal led groover on the highest order!

The Newcastle native launched Trick in 2019 as a platform to spot and champion emerging artists, both in the studio and behind the decks.
