Disfreq return to the Patrick Topping’s unstoppable Trick label with yet another set of heavy-hitting, high octane tracks. 
Across all three tracks, the duo’s knack for crafting big, banging tracks is on full display. ‘Till Ya Break’ leads the release with pumping drums, dense synths, and lairy vocal samples for an energetic start to proceedings. ‘Screwface’ keeps the pace up, bringing more hyped vocals, pounding kicks, and distorted acid lines, before closing track ‘Ezy Does It’ draws for buzzy leads and heavy drops to round out the EP.

Label head Patrick Topping recruits a wide range of modern dance music’s most exciting talents for ‘Tasty Techno Volume One’ on Trick, showcasing his ear for A&R and a willingness to push new names to the world. 

“This is such a special release for Trick. It’s our first time releasing a compilation and it’s two years’ worth of curation, which I think has resulted in such an exciting and unique collection of 22 techno tracks. There’s so many diverse styles here, but they are all unified with the theme of just being exciting and different! I’m so happy with how this has turned out and that Trick again has been able to push so many up and coming artists, as well as welcoming back some regular names and also for a couple of the artists, this is their first-ever release.” - Patrick Topping.

After the success of "4 to the Floor", we continued to collaborate again. 
Now "Take the Floor" is born on the 19th of August!

"Take the Floor" was the idea of three friends, Heerhorst, Peter Pahn and Slin Bourgh. We were together for Slin's birthday, and in-between some beers and good times we had the idea to make a new episode of "4 to the Floor". We wanted to do something new and special again, that evening we drank, joked and played with our synthesizers and drum machines while we recorded everything.

Also that night, spontaneously, (around 2 o'clock) we called Peter's friend "Mimi", who despite time, answered, and was happy to sing the now featured vocal, "Back to Rave, No time for Reality". Forming the basis of the new track "Time to Rave"!

True to the motto that we can party again and no longer have any time for reality.

We think we can reach everyone with these words!

Trick is an acclaimed dance music label and event brand owned and curated by global dance music icon, Patrick Topping.

The Newcastle native launched Trick in 2019 as a platform to spot and champion emerging artists, both in the studio and behind the decks. Trick's loyal fanbase has become one of the most passionate communities in dance music, with fans sporting Trick's signature lightning bolt on merchandise and tattoos at events throughout the UK and beyond. From completing a 9-date residency in 2022 at Ibiza's legendary DC10, to hosting a stage at EDC Orlando 2022, to attracting 10,000 ravers to The Warehouse Project in Manchester and bringing thousands to an Australian Debut in Melbourne in 2023. Then there is the Trick Weekenders, Budapest in 2022 and Tenerife in 2023. These events both saw 2,500 Trick Troops holiday and party together abroad, with Trick Tenerife this year set to double in size.

In 2024 Patrick is set to give back to his roots, bringing legions of fans to his hometown of Newcastle this summer 2024 with the launch of Trick Fest. Trick will also return to Ibiza, hosting a four-date residency in Hï’s Theatre on Wednesdays.
