Released over 20 years ago, Sharam Jey’s ‘Shake Your’ is an undisputed classic - a global sensation that dominated dancefloors from Miami to Ibiza.

The track later saw a re-release and remixes on Toolroom, including a standout rework by a then up-and-coming Nicole Moudaber. Now, in 2025, DJ/producer veteran Marco Lys reconstructs and remixes the originals elements into a certified club weapon, arriving just in time for this year’s summer season!

Thomas Newson & GUZ are back together with their new club focused EP 'Get Raw'. A key artist for Toolroom Trax, Thomas Newson follows up his recent releases ‘Gucci Belter’, ‘The Middle’ and his anthemic hit ‘Left To Right’ on Stereohype that became a firm staple for James Hype. Along-side Thomas on the EP is fellow Dutchman GUZ who is another sought after producer with successful collaborations with the likes of John Summit, Ferreck Dawn and Alex Mills. These releases have seen both producers collectively boast over a million monthly listeners and this EP once again feels like a very natural team up for the Dutch producers.

‘Get Raw’ showcases their impressive musical chemistry, blending GUZ’s powerful grooves with Thomas Newson's flair for psychedelic synths and vocal hooks whereas 'Jazza' is a more stripped back underground Tech House roller. Two very versatile club tracks here that scream production quality!

Solardo’s first-ever Trick record, ‘Psycho’, lands on April 11th, hot on the heels of the label's 100th release from head honcho Patrick Topping. The sweat-inducing title cut opens up proceedings in a rugged, stomping fashion with subtle hints of electroclash. The off-balance bass makes for a wonky workout while distorted synth pressure and anthemic sung-spoken vocals send the party wild. 'Fall Apart' is another equally raw and off-kilter track with a warped bassline, gritty synths, and whirring machine sounds offset by tripped-out vocals that descend into all-out dancefloor carnage.

Formed in 2014, Manchester duo Solardo skyrocketed to fame and have subsequently become one of house music’s biggest names. With residencies at revered clubs like Hï Ibiza, their chart-topping Sola imprint and omnipresent tracks and remixes for the likes of Ultra and Defected, they continue to dominate the scene and ‘Psycho’ on Trick drives them forward in 2025.

Trick is an acclaimed dance music label and event brand owned and curated by global dance music icon, Patrick Topping.

The Newcastle native launched Trick in 2019 as a platform to spot and champion emerging artists, both in the studio and behind the decks. Since then, Trick has become one of the scene's most popular underground dance music event brands and record labels, launching the careers of some of the UK's biggest ticket-sellers and creating a cult fan following along the way.

As a record label, Trick is set to his 100 releases in 2024 and has given an outlet to many new signings who have since become some of the fastest-rising stars in the UK, such as Ben Hemsley, Hannah Laing and Ewan McVicar, who delivered platinum-certified “Tell Me Something Good” along the way. 

Trick's loyal fanbase has become one of the most passionate communities in dance music, with fans sporting Trick's signature lightning bolt on merchandise and tattoos at events throughout the UK and beyond. From completing a 9-date residency in 2022 at Ibiza's legendary DC10, to hosting a stage at EDC Orlando 2022, to attracting 10,000 ravers to The Warehouse Project in Manchester and bringing thousands to an Australian Debut in Melbourne in 2023. Then there is the Trick Weekenders, Budapest in 2022 and Tenerife in 2023. These events both saw 2,500 Trick Troops holiday and party together abroad, with Trick Tenerife this year set to double in size.

In 2024 Patrick is set to give back to his roots, bringing legions of fans to his hometown of Newcastle this summer 2024 with the launch of Trick Fest. Trick will also return to Ibiza, hosting a four-date residency in Hï’s Theatre on Wednesdays.
