The latest offering from Miguel Campbell’s Outcross Records comes courtesy of in-house label duo MAM, with ‘Beats of Science Vol 6’ playing host to two brand new tracks - ‘Global Warm Up’ and ‘Voicebox’.

Maintaining the vibrant disco elements from their previous releases, ‘Global Warm Up’ is defined by a solid, funk-laden bassline and glossy synth-melodies that build on a colourful, summertime aesthetic that's continued with aplomb via second track ‘Voicebox’. The latter is again groove-filled, although this time complete with looped vocal samples and powerful, soulful chords that hark back to an era of dance music not easily reimagined. 

About MAM
Just a Man and Another Man. MAM consist of the Leeds based duo Matt Hughes and Miguel Campbell. The two met online via their mutual love for Daft Punk and have been recreating the classic French Touch sound together since 2007, earning support from the likes of Soul Clap for their endeavours.

Today we premier a track from a brand new EP called ‘Mean Look’ courtesy of a London-based duo that go by the name ‘Jynx’. Releasing on new label TRICKS Recordings, these guys have popped onto our set list with an EP full of nostalgic melodies being backed up with punchy, crisp kicks giving their songs a unique edge and flavour. All three tracks boast a diversity that would enable you to play these both on a summer afternoon and on the dance floor at 3am in a club environment.
