 Tricky Micky is a rapper from the Brighton area trying to make a name for himself as an entertaining chart artist. He has supported Example and Klashnekoff and is probably best known for his 2008 single Easy for which the video was on Channel U's playlist

After catching the eye of Mike Skinner as a potential artist for his The Beats label, he went on to work with Big Brovaz creator and African sensation Mr Skillz AKA JJC as well as reaching the last 20 of the national talent competition Britains Next Urban Superstar. Tricky went on to release a long awaited and critically acclaimed mixtape, entitled The Micks Tape, in August 2010. Finally, after years of missed chances and talent competitions, he had a solid debut LP.

Tricky Micky is now working on an EP to be released in the Summer of 2011, hot on the heels of 2010's mixtape and the soon to be released for free download Bootleg Mash Up EP. His music is best described as lad rap, and is released on his own label Lad Rap Promotions where he remains until a suitable record label gets their act together and spots him.
