All Aboard the Ravey Train Mix

So I had my first ever headline set at Skyline this past weekend, and I learned what it really means to be a DJ. Now, I'll never be a DJ like John Digweed, who can create this whole vortex of sound, and while all the craziness is going on, he's just standing at the center of the eye of the storm, eyes on his mixer, in complete control. How I DJ is completely different. I like to bring my passion for this music, I like to bring my enthusiasm for this music into the DJ booth. 

Because how I create a connection with the dancefloor, and that's what DJing to me is really all about, creating a connection with the dancefloor. How I do that is I hope the clubbers on the dancefloor can see a little bit of themselves in me. They can say, hey, just like this guy is enthusiastic and passionate about the music, I'm just as enthusiastic and passionate myself. If he can do it, I can do it. 

So in the words of Danny Tenaglia, just be yourself. As much as DJing is a skill set, it's also a mindset. You have it in you to go and achieve your dreams. Just go out and do it. Let's go.

I am so honoured and grateful to have performed the opening set on the Olive Grove stage at the inaugural Balance Croatia, 2025. Whilst this set itself was one of many personal weekend highlights, I am most humbled by the global progressive house community coming together as one, as well as the overwhelming love and intention that was poured into this historic event overall 🙏

Lexicon Avenue is an electronic music group, hailing from Newcastle upon Tyne, consisting of promoters and resident DJ's Scott Bradford and Scooby, DJ Mark Armstrong and DJ/producer Chris Scott. The trio have been keeping the North of England's clubbers moving for over a decade with their close involvement with the legendary Shindig club night, the Newcastle based team also spin the world over and produce tracks and remixes for a multitude of labels.
