I'm your host and the dj for the first part of the show, JUAN PABLO Torrez. In the last part of this one we have a great guestmix by Ruben Karapetyan which was recorded live at Avalon Club LA. Ruben released a few weeks ago a groovy remix to K Loveski and Geronimo Eguiguren's Kamikaze. Check it on Beatport and all major streaming platforms (https://hypeddit.com/clubsonica099c). Following a ten-year hiatus, the Armenian-born, USA-based artist made a triumphant return to electronic music in 2020 with a series of the releases via Mango Alley, Movement Recordings and Univack. On the strength of his fresh, progressive sound Ruben quickly earned praise from the genre's trendsetters Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while also becoming a regular in Beatport's competitive sales charts. Now, following a contribution to The Soundgarden's Winter Sampler, Ruben makes his Clubsonica debut with a powerful take on 'Chaia'.

Go deep the rabbit hole to the word of abstract. Genre-fluid audio journey into the world of dark minimal, psy tech and zenonesque, this time with a Kafka Tempo special part 1, and a guest mix by FOLIC STATE. Producer, DJ and A&R for Soupherb Records, Folic State is regarded as one of Indian dance world's most venerated lurkers. He has played a vital role in shaping the minimal & psy techno scene in India for over a decade. An illustrious producer, his music explores the tension between light and dark, formulating expansive soundscapes among warm, driving percussion. The enigmatic producer has been producing top dance tracks for the last few years, which has won him a strong fan base both, locally and globally. Be it his DJ sets or productions, Folic State weaves a story of sound; decidedly buoyant through its moments of clarity, pensive and introspective when concealed.

With the Scratch EP, Scottish techno powerhouse Gary Beck delivers four razor-sharp cuts that bring raw energy and dancefloor pressure to FJAAK’s label CROWD. Known for his unmistakable grooves and stripped-down power, Beck presents a no-frills EP that bridges classic techno aesthetics with forward momentum.

Opening with the single ‘French System’, the EP kicks off in full throttle. It’s a propulsive roller built around tough drums, catchy synths, a female vocal leading the way and Beck’s signature percussive tension. Title track ‘Scratch’ follows with a twitchy, angular rhythm that spirals around a fragmented vocal motif and bold machine-funk energy with tense breaks leading to ecstatic drops.

On the record’s flip side, ‘How Do You Feel’ keeps the level high, fusing jacking rhythms with a funky vocal and a Beck’s heavy signature kicks. Finally, ‘Eclipse’ closes the EP pushing the energy into darker territories with relentless drive, its distorted pulse and industrial edge.

Triforce are a live electronic dark techno / progressive psytrance project consisting of producers Charlotte Lohmann & Ryan Smith.

Creating music together and experimenting with a variety of genres for 12 years has lead them to form a rich musical bond, resulting in a unique sound that sits between hard/dark techno and psytrance. 

Deep heaving bass lines combined with rich melody and beautifully orchestrated motifs define their performances played on live synths and an Ableton push.

Triforce signed to Zenon Records in May 2017 and have released 2 EP's and an album with the label. "Arise" being their most recent release which came out September 2023.
