Although this set took place back in July of 2024, I believe it showcases a glimpse into the direction my taste in techno is heading. It is very apparent to me my sound is evolving. I'm very excited to lean into this new styles of pacey groove, hypnotic, and dub techno.

Unfortunately, I did not record the input of the drums correctly, hence why there is no live drum recording throughout the set... (bummer)

This time, we’re visiting Messier Catalog Number 87, a supergiant elliptical galaxy home to trillions of stars, spanning more than one million light-years in diameter.

Sonically, you’ll hear plenty of what some might call sci-fi or deep exploratory sounds. Personally, I like to think many of these are the result of the continuous light and inspiration streaming from the sky above us.

It’s been an absolute honour for me to join Mo:Dem festival again in 2025. This year, I was allocated an evening slot within a dark progressive session.
Set Time: 21.00-23.00 - Day 1

I did my best to honour the slot while holding integrity and taking risks. My selections explore various parts of my library, ranging from dark prog to an array of sped-up psy-tech and 140-ish hypnotic techno flavours I’ve been delving into recently. I also featured some fresh break-beat and syncopated grooves I’ve been gathering.

I must admit, I didn’t play drums throughout the set as much as usual. This was due to focusing on the mix and trying to harness control. With this being said, there’s still several moments throughout the recording where you can hear me having a slap. It’s a bit sloppy, but hey, we’re out here winging it, and that’s where the magic lies (sometimes).

All in all, I’m happy with the set and believe it’s a good representation of my style within the context of the session. Mo:Dem is the psychedelic mecca!! She is a must-attend event, and my favourite in the world so far <3

Triforce are a live electronic dark techno / progressive psytrance project consisting of producers Charlotte Lohmann & Ryan Smith.

Creating music together and experimenting with a variety of genres for 12 years has lead them to form a rich musical bond, resulting in a unique sound that sits between hard/dark techno and psytrance. 

Deep heaving bass lines combined with rich melody and beautifully orchestrated motifs define their performances played on live synths and an Ableton push.

Triforce signed to Zenon Records in May 2017 and have released 2 EP's and an album with the label. "Arise" being their most recent release which came out September 2023.
