I'm Not Drifting

I was in a band once, Geek Theatre. Could have, would have, should have..... Still it was fun while it lasted. Mostly.

Electrocide was me and Mr. Moore dancing up Geek Theatre tracks when we were meant to be demolishing his chimney breast.

Billy's Comet was my beloved Tascam Porta 05 4 track and whoever happened to join me in gathering around it. Sadly the tape heads stopped turning many moons ago but I still use it as a mixer.

Lime was me and Mr. Moore trying to start again but we have to get up for work in the morning.

Crackity Jones is my ongoing attempt to be the world's first one man Pixies tribute band.

And Robsonic? That's just me.

Hello all - been around the music creation business for some time now. I enjoy the world which it can take you to and hope that what i have done is to your liking. I would also like to collaborate with anyone who likes what i do and vi a vis - broadening horizons wherever we are. I started out playing piano but hated my teacher!!!. I then took up guitar which is more my bag being influenced by friends and music over the years. Boom Babies was Mark Blane aka <a href="http://soundcloud.com/soft-enerji" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Soft Enerji</a> and Trevor White aka <a href="http://soundcloud.com/trigtrigger" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">trigtrigger</a>. Boom Babies was our band back in the late 80's into the early 90's. The name has now been extended to Boom Babies International as we no longer live in the same country or indeed the same continent. 

It is with great sadness that I now add to this profile page that my friend and musical conspirator is no longer with us.
Goodbye Trevor, my old mucker, you will  be sorely missed!!

Soft Enerji is Mark Blane. Originally from Scotland, now a born again Australian.

I like to make music in my spare time although spare time can be hard to come by.

I compose in Cubase 14, Ableton Live 12 and Reason 13. Among many plugins I also use Native Instuments Komplete 15 Ultimate Collectors Edition.

I have a Komplete Kontrol S61 Mk2 keyboard and a Maschine Mk3. My Bass guitars are a Warwick Corvette Fretless, a Schecter Diamond Series and a Cort Semi-Acoustic.
