Trilby Tricks (Homo trilbicus)

The species was first described in 2010 by Moffatt when he discovered a single adult male specimen in Bristol, UK (unpublished data). The Trilby Tricks is an invasive species in the UK with origins in Eastern Europe, where it occasionally migrates to maintain social relationship with its hypothesised kin. A notable characteristic of H. trilbicus is its sound-emitting behaviour, produced via the means of modernised phonograph devices. There are various theories behind this behavioural display; mate attraction, conspecific signaling, and resource acquisition are but a few. Moffatt also noted the species' fondness for both the trilby hat and Proboscidea - however further scientific investigation is required to ascertain the utility/origin of these particular traits.
