Consisting of two members – J. Lew (John Flowers) and Trill Gatez (Marcus Thomas), the MGCB work religiously at reaching the top of the industry. Deceased member, Crisis (JJ Thompson) birthed the idea and name of their independent record label Money Greene County Entertainment, and in his memory, a ground-breaking movement is in motion. From just the early basics of freestyling at their middle school lunch tables to battling their competitive young peers, the very determined J. Lew and Trill Gatez, combined their rap efforts in order to form their unstoppable duo. Whether their bars are written are freehanded, the Money Greene County Boyz will always undeniably provide listeners with raw chemistry and memorable verses. There aren’t too many ways to describe MGCB outside of them being very direct , lyrical and street . Working with a heavyweight producer, J. Manifest, Lew and Gatez plan on bringing pure originality to the industry with full force. The Money Greene County Boyz has been compared to the styles of a few such as; Yo Gotti and Juicy J.
