OZFERTI is a character created by the French beatmaker, musician and illustrator Florian Doucet, to represent the ‘embodiment of the universe’. His music is best described as a melting pot of Ethiopian, Eritrean and Nigerian vibes mixed with elements of electronica, jazz, hip hop and bass music.

After months of musical and graphic research, his first album ADDIS ABOUMBAP was released in May 2016, obtaining widespread support from underground and also established, DJs, press and radio

OZFERTI reveals himself on stage as a versatile multi-instrumentalist who swiftly juggles with machines, a guitar and even his own created video animations.

Beatroots brings us some more intoxicatingly deep and moody grooves in the minimal DnB department. Saxon's venture to achieve the crunky character of the analogue's warm sound by digital means continues. Emersed means, to rise above the surface of the water. A word used most commonly in botany. The rippling of water can be synced in many polyrhythmic patterns when one simply gazes upon them. These four tracks represent this idea through chord tonality and the motion in perpetual and addictive rhythm construction.
