Eric Louis returns to his own Devilish Affair with 4 dubbed out original cuts. Vinyl only, 180grams. 

In 2021, the New Jersey based producer & DJ launched his Devilish Affair imprint with the Adventures EP which was supported by many leading names in the industry. 

Eric’s story continues with a follow up to the label’s debut in the form of "Adventures Part 2.”

Drama’ leads the release and lays down a dynamic stab-led hook at its core while a bumpy vacillating rhythm, murky textures and low-end pulsations carry the ever-evolving groove throughout. ‘Café Dubs Part 1’ follows and dives deeper courtesy of sweeping atmospherics, expansive reverberations and airy pads running atop a minimalistic drum groove. 

‘Floating Away’ is up next and as the name would suggest offers a cosseting feel via ethereal, billowing pad lines, soft chord stabs, twinkling synth chimes and low-slung percussion. 

Closing it out, ‘School Yard’ then leans into darker realms with hazy, heavily reverberated stabs, hypnotic voices, crisp drums and choppy bass hits

The fourth Exposure Series release is upon us. If you have not heard, the Exposure series is our signature compilation series that features multiple artists and is pressed on vinyl for the most discerning DJs and collectors. 'Linear Radiance' gathers together 4 extremely hot artists in the scene for one special 12'. The EP begins with 'Raizel' by the hot newcomer Grush. This early set builder is smooth in the constraint it has rolling along in the sweet spot. A beautiful jaunt that is rich and fluid. Next, is the amazing Philipp Priebe. 'So Glad' is another Priebe heater. A very talented producer, you can always count on him for great dancefloor business. The melody sneaks up on you as it builds from deep within. A sublime and subdued corker! 'Sonic Shadows' starts out on the B-side from skillful Nicolas Barnes. His contribution is a combination of a big club techno sound and a melodic flow that is almost reminiscent of some prime late 1990's progressive house. Finally, is 'Grey Rythem' by Cirkel Square. Riding a catchy micro dub sound that is clever, fun, and surprisingly deeper than we could have ever hoped! All four tracks make for a healthy, well-balanced piece of wax! Linear Radiance is lovingly pressed and shared on crystal clear 180-gram vinyl. Act quick while copies are in stock. This compilation is sure to get picked up by DJs, collectors, and fans.

Berlin-based producer and DJ, Fletcher, is set to make a notable addition to Anthony Georges Patrices' Ausblick imprint this December with the release of his 'Blurred Lines' EP. Over the past decade, Fletcher has carved out his niche in dub techno and micro house, having previously released a debut album on Steve O’Sullivan’s Mosaic and contributed to labels such as Roger Gerressen’s Irenic, Ohm Series, and his own Tact Recordings/Tactics.

Scheduled for release on December 8, 2023, the EP's title track, 'Blurred Lines,' takes center stage. Within its eight-minute duration, Fletcher skillfully layers ghostly chimes, swelling subs, and modulating synths atop a sturdy, shuffled percussive groove. The result is a dynamic and engaging journey, where Fletcher's talent for creating intricate sound design and rhythmic exploration shines through.

Spacelunch devoted all of his spare time to developing the virus. Once in the body, its molecules activate: they replace the configuration of neurotransmitters and start evolving independently. A small dosage of vapours reactivates brain navigation, whereas readings are taken from a nano-oscilloscope and sent to a tablet for further analysis. Augmented reality has long gone beyond virtuality, ladies and gentlemen!

The simulation of the collective mind has undergone a series of public tests initiated by enthusiasts from the Venus Biomolecular Institute. After a data leak from the lab's journal, the dangerous technology could have fallen into the hands of Aerospace Corporation, but luckily was intercepted by the Meta-Warp operational unit. Putting the development on pause, they shut down access to any information about the project. It remained unexplored, but the Professor's inquisitive mind wanted to understand the discovery that could change the future.

Counter Pulse is proud to present the 'The Dish' EP which is the first collaboration of two of Australia's most passionate techno talents, Advanced Human & Trinity. 

The duo have delivered two hard-edged dance-floor cuts for this release. First track 'The Dish' is a hypnotic banger with a raw warehouse energy anchored by no-nonsense 4/4 drums. The 2nd track 'Splinter' locks you into a groove with minimal industrial textures and dark dub-focused stabs. 

This EP also includes impressive remixes by scene stalwarts Headless Horseman and Mary Velo. 

Headless Horseman contributed an explosive remix of 'The Dish' which takes us down a sinister wormhole with the dance floor in mind. Headless Horseman is known for making raw and abrasive dark techno and is one of the most talked-about techno artists of recent years. Having predominately released on his own label, we are very fortunate to have this very rare remix from him on the EP. 

The Toronto-born, Berlin-based artist Mary Velo is no stranger to the Elektrax family making her 12'-debut on Gynoid Audio with her 'Master Mind' EP. She has also released music on esteemed labels such as Semantica and Diffuse Reality and also performs in highly respected clubs such as Berghain and Tresor. Mary's stripped back version of 'Splinter' takes the track in a deeper direction, a slow burner laced with flowing atmospherics and melodic overtones.

Trinity & Beyond is a collaboration between Trinity AU and producer John Tzineris (Beyond). Trinity is best known as one of Australia’s most highly regarded female artists, and performs as both a DJ and live act, while Tzineris brings to the production table studies in classical music composition acquired at Sydney’s Conservatorium of Music.

Australia's Nightime Drama welcome Steven Tang and label associate Trinity for a new collaborative EP that comes with two originals and remixes by Basic Soul Unit and Daniela La Luz. 

Tang has long been serving up space age techno sounds on his own Obsolete Music Technology and the likes of Smallville, and Trinity is a DJ, live act and producer from Sydney who plays key clubs around Europe and releases on Counter Pulse and Coincidence as well as this one. 

Innermost Search opens the EP with supple and rubbery drums carrying you off into the cosmos as spaced out pads bring real scale and emotional depth. It’s a cinematic house track with vivid imagery. Then comes a remix from Dekmantel’s Toronto mainstay Basic Soul Unit that is much more busy and robust. A wide lead synth line sprays about above drums which are much bigger and heavier. It’s prime warehouse material to get people marching. 

Tang & Trinity’s Adrifting Voyage then slips back into a deep, cerebral house groove with oodles of reverb and dubby chords cut though by icy hi hats and transcendental pads. Last of all, Berlin’s Daniela a La Luz (who has released on the likes of Cocoon and !K7) remixes this one into a lively, nimble house track with curious melodic riffs and tough drums appealing to both head and heel. It rounds out a fresh and powerful EP of futuristic house music.

Trinity is a DJ, live performer and producer based in Sydney. Now celebrating her 20th year in the music industry, Trinity has earned the respect and love of fans, dancers and peers from Sydney to Berlin — and many destinations in between. Her abundant and diverse talents, her famous work ethic, and her uncompromising musical vision have made her a force to be reckoned with in the world of techno.

Trinity was billed alongside Richie Hawtin at the Vivid Sydney festival at Sydney Opera House; headlined Sydney’s world-famous Mardi Gras celebration; and has played at Tresor, Tomorrowland and many other clubs and festivals across Europe. Other stops on her musical travels have included New Zealand, India and Amsterdam’s famed Red Light Radio.

Each of Trinity’s live shows is marked by her unique versatility: from deep dub-techno, acid and electro to peaktime techno — all combining for a distinct and moving soundscape. Trinity is also one-half of boundary-breaking live act Phax Machine (along with partner Analogue Resistance), with the duo focusing especially on tougher breakbeat and classic rave sounds. 

Trinity’s recorded output includes collaborations with Luke Hess, Eric Cloutier, Headless Horseman and XDB, with her releases making their way into some of the best record shops in the world including Berlin’s Hard Wax. Trinity also runs A&R for Australian techno label Nightime Drama.

After taking a break from DJing and performing during the pandemic to focus on running her business and parenting, Trinity is back — with a focus on quality over quantity and the same dedication and musical integrity as ever.
