Having begun a shared exploration of Latin music as members of a raucous ten-piece Latin & Salsa band, Trio Habanero struck out on their own in the summer of 2010 embracing a diverse range of music from Cuba, Brazil, Argentina and the Iberian Peninsula. 

The group's engaging live performances, which combine the sounds of the Spanish guitar (Matthew Heery) and traditional Afro-Cuban percussion (Lydia Glanville) with the piano, violin and soulful voice of multi-linguist Hannah Rhodes, have been enthusiastically received at concerts and functions in Stratford, London and the West Midlands.

Trio Habanero specialise in Cuban Standards, Bossa Nova, Argentine Tangos, Portuguese Fado and classic easy listening, pop and jazz songs.
