Samplemodeling - Double Reeds

Behold, a song made out of pure love ... and sheer spite!

I am a huge Indiana Jones geek.  For as good as the movies are, however, the adventure game Fate of Atlantis is probably the greatest single catalyst for my Indy-mania.  Along with good gameplay and a fantastic story, the game also featured a soundtrack by Clint Bajakian, Peter McConnell, and Michael Z. Land that would do John Williams proud.

A group of fans of the game are making a special edition of this game, and it contains a wonderful reorchestration of the music by Rich Douglas.  In a jealous huff, I declared to myself that I could to a better job.  I don't think I necessarily succeeded, but this is a pretty good attempt.

This piece is played as Sophia gives a presentation about the history of the lost city of Atlantis, first showcasing it's grandeur, and concluding as the city is destroyed by some unknown force.  

Woodwinds are featured heavily in this piece, and it game me a lot of practice using my newest VST library, Berlin Woodwinds.  The rest of the instrumentation includes my standard LA Scoring Strings and Sample Modeling Brass.
