This started off as just playing around with harmonies and melodies. But I just kept building on it and was actually quite happy with the result. So I hope you are too.

This track is about the struggles a person has watching another go through pain and you want to cradle them in your arms to protect them from what ever it may be. But you know that's not reality, you have to let them move forward.

Influences range from Paul Kelly, Joe Strummer, Eddie Vedder, Amanda Palmer, Shane Macgowan even Tom Waits's sad state of affairs
