In The Dark

This is just a simple mashup I recently made with Le Knight Club's song "Gator" (they're actually one half of Daft Punk if you didn't know), and the vocal sample used in DJ Shadow's "Right Thing". I noticed both of those things had a similar rhythm, so I thought I'd be cool to see what they sound like together.
I know it might be a bit repetitive, but I did try and add some variations of the sample. And hey, the original Gator song is already repetitive as it is, but that doesn't stop it from being a great house track. ;)

Back during my last year of high school, I was taking a multimedia class. I didn't do very well in it IMO. However there was one part of the class I was real good at, and that was music making. 
I made 5 songs during the whole class, I wouldn't say I ever "finished" any of them but my teacher really liked them regardless. And at the end of the year, they gave us CDs for us to burn so we could take our works home with us. The songs have just been sitting here on my computer since then, but not anymore. 
I feel like I should finally share the songs I made in that class now, I think I did a pretty good job on them too.

Some songs I made in high school

While I was at work the other day, I had an idea about DJ Shadow's "High Noon" and the theme song to the infamous Cheetahmen game and how they could sound together.
So that night I opened up Sony ACID and created this mashup. Turns out it actually sounds really awesome!

High Cheetah (Mashup)

An ambient-downtempo song I made a few years ago with Sony ACID.
I'm quite proud of the atmosphere I made here. Also, most of it is made just out of samples.

Chillin' In Space

This here's a chiptune-ish song I made in FL Studio a year or two ago called Cheap Beat.
The beat and some of the synths were sampled from a couple old, cheap keyboards I have which you could probably get at a dollar store or something, hence the name.

Don't know if this has already been done before, but wow, they go together almost perfectly!
Yet again I amaze myself. I guess daydreaming does have it's benefits.

8-bit version of the DJ Shadow song "Organ Donor".

I made this over a year or so ago for the heck of it, but somehow never bothered to share it. Wasn't too hard to make acutally, since the original song is rather simple anyways. I think it sounds kinda cool this way, should be pretty accurate too.

When I heard this new track by Mr. Scruff, I noticed it had some similarities to the music in a game called Happy Fun Sub, which is a minigame inside another game called Spy Fox in Dry Cereal, one I liked to play as a kid. So I tried mixing them together, and what do ya know, it actually sounds pretty great! Enjoy!

Anyone remember that fad from a few years ago when someone stretched out a Justin Beiber song with special software and it sounded amazing and then everybody started trying it?

Apparently no one's done the MST3K ending theme yet for some reason, which is odd considering it sounds extraordinary!
