Forgotten

If I had to choose two or three of my compositions out of all of them, this would be one of them.

Like every composition, this one has a story...or rather two.

The first tells how it was done.

The advantage of making music with an iPad is that you can take your "studio and instruments" anywhere. Thanks to that, I started composing it in France, a country that, as many know, I visit frequently for family reasons.

The main instrument that defines the melody is a bell-type synthesizer and was taken from the defunct Alchemy.

It was 2015 and I was still not able to equalize properly (And I think today, although I have improved, neither).

So in 2019 I decided to improve it, but I discovered that I had accidentally deleted the master.

I didn't know very well what to do and finally decided to recompose it from the beginning, but looking for the most similar sounds on another synthesizer (kv331).

The second story has to do with what I want to convey.

Where I live there is a nursing home. I see the families who come to see the people there.

I remember my grandfather, with whom he spent entire days and showed me all the books he read... I remember it as if it were yesterday (My other grandfather died when I was very young). What I learned most from him was respect and discovering the wonderful stories behind them from which you can learn authentic life lessons.

This composition is for these people who suffer and do not have the love and respect they deserve.

Today I also dedicate it to all these wonderful musicians of a certain age who are in this community and to anyone who suffers for any reason and believes that no one remembers them.

Hi everyone.

After three weeks sick, he seems to be starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel (That's what we say in Spain...).

My precious kidney stones have prevented me from focusing on songwriting and my commitments to some friends here, and will continue to do so for a while...

But my spirit regains energy and that's why I leave you here a composition from almost 8 years ago that I don't remember having published before.

It is one of the most complex electronic parts ever made.

It's true that I remastered it a few years later in my second mixing studio......yes, in my second car with BT.

I hope you like it, while I hope to expel two of my beloved stones from the four I have had since the last month.

I REMEMBER YOU

This summer I did a small renovation in my apartment.

When you usually do these things, photos and memories appear that you did not expect to find.

I found a photo of a girl who was my girlfriend for a short time and she brought back memories of other times. I remember her perfectly...her name, where she lived in Catalonia, the sensation she felt of that freshness of youth. Who hasn't felt that?

And best of all... my wife didn't see the photo!!!

I thought of the sax as an instrument to create the melody. I haven't written many songs with this instrument, but the idea came instantly with that sound.

I composed it in a few days in October of last year and I'm publishing it now. My friend Clive (Winkandwoo) told me not to keep it for too long a few days ago.... and I listened to him.

累了走了散了 (Trip ReMiX) - REMIXES/COVERS [2019]

Hello again everyone, I'm excited to release one of my more recent songs here on SoundCloud!  This time, I decided to spend around 1 month re-creating + remixing + re-vocalizing one of my favorite Chinese songs on my iPad/iPhone (iOS) via Xewton Music Studio (as usual).  It was very challenging, and I almost gave up a few times, to be honest...but somehow, I kept going and eventually completed this project! :D

Hello everyone, TripMX here!
I'm yet another aspiring artist (music-wise, as I can't draw [stick figs at best xD] AT ALL) who has began making music in FALL 2011.

Reason I started was because I honestly wanted to give it a try, but had no good PC or equipment to make the music; luckily, I found an app in the Apple App Store that made it possible for me — Xewton Music Studio. It's not as popular as GarageBand, but I love it; it was definitely worth the purchase. I make all of my music on my iPhone/iPad...gotta love the portability. :D



Anyways, sorry for the crazy long intro. When I make my songs, sometimes I make three at a time and call it a 'Music Pack'; you can check in the description of each song to see what music pack it's from or it's creation orgin.


Disclaimer: My music style is a bit...varied, but mainly more on the dark/wild side, so please try to bear with it. I've tried making lighter whimsical tunes, but they eventually tangent towards dark/underground unless I try realllly hard, lol. Also, I didn't start quantizing until much later, so you may notice that in some areas at times, but in other areas, I didn't have the intention to quantize due to what I was trying to achieve musically.
