After being schooled about the virtuosity of Maurice White's achievements and standing in the music industry, I asked the question:
"So you're telling me you can be a Visionary , Founder , Bandleader , Musician , Singer , Songwriter , Producer and Arranger and still have THIS MUCH FUN!?!?"
It was all I needed to make me reach UP from then on , constantly and tirelessly stepping up my game to this day

Where's all my ‪#‎Blues‬ lovers at?
To me Blues is just a way of highlighting something you feel strongly about.
It does NOT have to pertain to just 2 or 3 kinds of things like most "labeled" Blues musicians have been forcibly coerced into doing for 100 yrs.
It can be about *whatever* and can be focused on just the music , a story being told or both.

I would urge people to remember that tragic stories are out there in abundance and they're set to ALL KINDS OF MUSIC , OK!?!? -lol
It's STIFLING and downright DISRESPECTFUL to approach someone and thrust it into their face as an "expectation" that all Blues songs would adhere to a set pattern of sadness , gloom , self-defeat and pessimism , to say the least. It gets worse from there!
I like MY Blues to inspire people to "Never. ever. EVER. give up!"
Here's my take on Earth, Wind & Fire dropping a SCORCHING HOT tribute to B.B. King and Albert King.
It's something I've taken away from a lifetime of being schooled by their swag.
