Dihya (in Berber: ⴷⵉⵀⵢⴰ ، in Arabic: ديهيا ( ، also known as Kahina or Kahena ،
is a Berber warrior and queen of Aurès1،2 who fights the Umayyads ،
during the Muslim conquest of the Maghreb in the seventh century .

Berber warlord at the head of an army of men.
Distinguished strategist who stood up to the Umayyads for 10 years .
Dihiya, known as the witch, the prophetess, marked 7th century Morocco with a white stone ...
Kahina is quite a symbol. Adored by poets, historians and today feminists,
this woman whose legend has spanned the ages still represents today a part of the history of this warlike Morocco,
this Morocco of the Berber tribes where women had all their power. square.

She had a prophetic gift and was worshiped by her people.
She was one of the first feminists and warrior queens in history.
Westerners compare her to Joan of Arc and Ibn Khaldoun attributed supernatural powers to her .

the Kahena will organize the Berber resistance, achieve the difficult
unity of the Maghreb and inflict terrible defeats on the Arab riders.
She reigned over all Ifriqiya for 10 years.
Defeated in 693 by Hassan Ibn in N'uman in the last battle against the Umayyads,
she took refuge in the Amphitheater of El Jem. She is finally taken prisoner,
then beheaded at the place called Bir El Kahina, in 703.
The leaders of the Umayyad army send his head as a trophy to Caliph Abd al-Malik in Syria.

Third chapter in the psytrance series. This one was gonna be recorded at the Crescent Tree party 8th edition in London last August 2019, but I had  issues with my recorder, so it was lately reworked at home to fit 1 hour and with full intention to keep the journey going straight into darkness.

Continuing the latest upload, I start with some groovy forest to end up in the atmospheric realms of dark forest. Having more and more fun playing this style and finding more interesting stuff that would fit my style. Expect more of this in my upcoming party djsets.

It was played and recorded on CDjs850s and CDm350 @ 150 to 152 bpm. I hope you enjoy the ride!

TripPy MjaumiX was born in the Mayan region of Guatemala and is now based in Scandinavia.

Her passion for electronic music developed at an early age. Her DJ career took off in 2009, and she has since been spinning psy-trance on the decks at a variety of events, forest parties, live radio events and festivals.

Her unique way with sound and driving flow creates a crazy vibe on the dancefloor; with a touch of heavy, radical, dark and intelligent night psy. 

Her music style is aggressive and cocky, which provides a great dance experience. It's music with muscle in it!

TripPy MjaumiX captures the dancefloor with her playful energy and presence behind the jog wheels, and great mixing skills. She has played all around Scandinavia and also in Switzerland and Spain.

She is the founder of Cat Pirates Crew and also member of the unique female artist collective The Solution and Psy-Sisters. She have two VA compilations; Ixchel Vibrations and Waken The Witches II in her history working through Digital Shamans Records.
