For part IV of "Sonos Futures" we warmly welcome an international group of esteemed artists. Emiliano Demarco & Maxi Vega from Buenos Aires, Argentina with "Sombras", Zeitverschiebung from Stuttgart, Germany with "Power Klipper" and Andy Kay from Lebanon with "Equinox". On top labelhead Solee delivers another peaktime banger called "Our lives", a long awaited track, known from his DJ sets during 2023.

Colombian producer and Purified Records regular Deviu returns to the imprint to release his driving collaboration with German artist Mira Nait titled Snow.

Speaking about the release, Deviu mentioned: 

“Snow is a collaborative track with the talented German singer, Mira Nait. His vocals were a perfect fit for this track, seamlessly blending the soft, emotive vocals with the energetic tones of the synths. The result is a sound that harmoniously fuses rhythmic melodies with the darker genre defining energy. With a pulsating beat, a selection of my signature sounds, and ethereal pads, we breathed life into this release, making it part of Purified, a label that truly feels like a personal home to me.” 

Hailing from Colombia, classically trained musician Deviu began producing electronic music in 2014. After studying audio and sound production in Medellin, Colombia, he began to compose chill-out and ambient music. Through further exploration of his passion, he began experimenting with melodic house & techno and progressive house. Honing his craft and dedicating endless hours in the studio, this transition led him to release on an array of imprints, including Purified Records, Zerothree, Steyoyoke, The Soundgarden, Clubsonica, Diesis Records, Ear Porn Music, to name a few. Receiving support from some of dance music’s most in-demand acts, his records have been played by Dosem, Gioli & Assia, Miss Monique, Nick Warren, Nora En Pure, Sultan & Shepard and many more.

Rafael Cerato makes a long over due debut on Beatfreak Recordings with 'Home'. Having appeared on Diynamic, Stil Vor Talent, Systematic, Suara and his own Ritual imprint, the French artist has remained one of the melodic house scenes most tried and tested artists. With a career that now spans the better part of a decade, the Aix-en-Provence resident debuts on Beatfreak with a new EP alongside a remix from Chus & Ceballos.

The lone interpretation on the release is provided by Chus & Ceballos who re-imagine the lead piece 'Home'. Based in Madrid, the Spanish duo and Stereo Productions owners boast a career that spans well over two decades. Having built the hugely popular Iberican sound in the early 2000's to touring the world and showcasing their music on Get Physical, Saved Music, Knee Deep or Nervous Records.

Chus & Ceballos have more than etched their place in electronic music history. Now returning to Beatfreak for the first time in seven years the duo cap the release off with a classy rendition of 'Home'. Exotic drums and a driving groove sound immediately enticing, building a momentous foundation for Eleonora's vocals to descend upon. Perfectly intertwined with the lead synth, it's the minor details which really make this so special. Percussive trails and clustered claps add dynamic moments across the first act, perfectly setting up cavernous break and mammoth drop. A huge interpretation from Chus & Ceballos which rounds out a massive Beatfreak debut for Rafael Cerato. Highly recommended.
