We are happy and proud to have for the 008 issue of Catharsis Cast, Andrea Ferlin on board. 

DJ and producer Andrea Ferlin is one of the founders of SLEEP IS COMMERCIAL. It was in 2008 that Andrea, alongside Francesco Assenza, brought the label to life. Andrea found time to craft his production skills and has released his own material since 2006 on labels like Freakn'Chic, Mindshake and Leftroom. In Berlin Andrea has really discovered and shaped his sound, producing a signature apparent in all his tracks and performances, something seeming to sway effortlessly between the beat machine and the snake charmer.
He worked/works on many projects such as the duo: Dunkle Dummies, Clarissa Hazel Duo and Fedon.
As solo project he realeased as Sunny Charles on SLEEP IS COMMERCIAL.
In 2015 he create his new live project Atoll.
2016 he create two new labels Proboscide and Atoll.
You can hear many unreleased material in this special 2h podcast he made for us.

Greek-based, Chicago-born Savvas is a producer and DJ has been experimenting with electronic music production since 1992. By the late nineties he was playing various clubs and open-air parties around Athens. He has been honing in a very deep, moody and rhythmic studio sound on labels like Anjunadeep, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Manjumasi, and Where The Heart Is. Co-founder of the internationally renowned brand @unic-records, he’s been responsible for injecting new life into Australia’s minimalist community and connecting it with likeminded artists in Europe and abroad. His impressive mix discography has seen him curate for the likes of Feeder.ro, Minimmal Movement and Mantra Collectives ‘Black Gold’ series, as he blends dub & minimally skewed house and techno flavored into a singular wave of hypnotic sound. 

Currently hard at work perfecting a signature style in his studio, keep a close ear on Elia as he prepares to leave a deep impression on the underground scene.

Tick tock!  The swing glided back and forth with the morning breeze.  Nestled upon it was a tiny kitty-cat, nestling in for a cozy nap as his nose filled with the aroma of the surrounding flowers...sweet dreams...sweet dreams.

Relaxing in the meadow with us today is none other than Christian Voldstad, and his sidekick, Kitty-Cat.

Christian acquired his love of electronic while growing up in the UK. It wasn’t until he moved to New York, however, that he would attend his first underground party and find the sound that would capture him and inspire him to step behind the decks himself. Since then, Christian has become a staple of the underground scene, a party enthusiast, and an avid techno tourist.

Most recently Christian has been playing across Brooklyn and Manhattan and as far away as Black Rock City, Amsterdam, Moscow, Peru and Cape Town. His sophisticated taste in music earned him a residency for Bespoke Musik where he continues to explore his love of vinyl records, piano melodies and funky basslines.
