Usually I ramp my tempo up for my livesets- for this timeslot I was bringing in the morning and it worked out to ramp down from 152bpm - 138bpm. Had a great dancefloor and loved watching the night turn to morning. 

Some of these tracks are coming soon on various labels and many of them are going on my first full length album. Right now it is just for streaming at 192kbps

Chrysalis Evolution

DJ Basilisk presents Reunion, a three hour studio mix based on his homecoming set at Solstice 2015, a unique community gathering in middle Ontario. Time slots at this event are typically limited to one hour, a thorny challenge given his usual propensity for long-form programming. After returning from the event DJ Basilisk reconstructed the set from memory, blending new selections with old favourites and letting the set sprawl without concern for time constraints. This is what he would have liked to have shared: a free-wheeling journey through deep, dark, and sensual house, techno, and trance for the witching hour.

Triptofun was drawn into the world of electronic music in 2004 by listening to a DnB/jungle CD of one czech soundsystem and by his first freetekno party in 2005. Soon he discovered psytrance and since then he has been involved in both techno and psytrance subcultures. The fascination and inspiration of altered states of consciousness, music and dance continues to this day in both his musical and professional life.
He moved from making hardware freetekno to DJing and in 2011 joined the south bohemian psytrance group Kamasutra. His night sets on the mainfloor are mostly techno/ darkprog/ dark psytrance. However, as a multi-genre DJ, he obsessively selects tracks for his sets on a daily basis in genres such as deep dubstep/ bass, deep house, DnB, hip-hop/ trip-hop, garage, wave, ambient, etc., so that he can play at any time of the day according to the concept of the event. 
He has played in NZ, Australia, Latin America, England and several countries in Europe.
He has organized countless musical events both with Kamasutra and solo (Sohma records) or with other groups.
