Hungarian Glitch Funk duo Cervendos & Freakvent Flote turn in a massive 2-tracker. Both "Downtown Groove" & "Influence" carry a unique glitch-hop inspired fusion of funk and jazz inspiration layered over fat creative basslines, crispy percussion, and original instrumentation. One of our favorite additions to the roster to this year and already picking up support from the likes of The Funk Hunters, Fort Knox Five, Stickybuds, and many more.

Cervendos & Freakvent Flote - Downtown Groove

The year 2011 was a great one for The Squatters, riding high on a tour with Kissy Sell Out and a release on Tiesto's Musical Freedom they came to the Big Alliance Records camp to remix a risky track.

Zuri's "Teddy Bear" was a tricky track to remix, the original mix had vocals that were questioned by some but it showcased the versatility and willingness to push the boundaries, not only by Zuri but The Squatters as well.

Still, we have decided to only give away the Dub Mix to fans of our classics but you should definitely look into the original remix as well. Enjoy and share!

This years Shambhala Music Festival was my 10th year playing in the Fractal Forest. It was a blast, and I thank the thousands of people who came out to party with all of us.
