HUNSUH'S GUESTMIX STARTS AT 30mins AND RUNS FOR 1 HOUR

(Airhorn noise) Massive shout out to Hunsuh for providing this month's guestmix. One hour of deconstructed, futuristic pop, euphoric, dancefloor energy! Hunsuh is a DJ, producer and artist based in London and working at the intersection of art, pop, rave and industrial. His work can be found on his soundcloud and instagram @HUNSUH, and he has recently done work for Corsica Studios' new art platform Schemata Art. The guestmix starts at 30 mins and runs for 1 hour.

This month i've put together two 30 minute minimixes, to air before and after Hunsuh's guestmix. The first minimix is half an hour of mutant dancehall variations to set the tone, and get the crowd all sweaty.
The second minimix (starting at 1h30) takes us through to morning, taking in some dark and grimy rhythms, and some general fucked up shit. No chat, just tunes.

Chapultepec (“grasshopper hill” in Nahuatl) has been a vital part of Mexico City for almost 600 years. A hydraulic marvel designed by the texcocan Tlatoani Nezahualcóyotl to work as a lung in one of the biggest cities on the planet. 

Throughout 19 tracks Lao explores the imaginative and timeless possibilities of Chapultepec in the form of deep melodies, organic textures, and tribal percussive patterns influenced by Jungle and Rave. The album is a homage to CDMX, the Mexican electronic music scene, and its dancefloor for the last 15 years.

For our first release of 2024 we welcome @undrwght, a prolific producer from Mexico who has long been cultivating a highly individual take on Latin club music. On his 𝙔𝙜𝙜𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙡 EP, his productions burst and blossom, rooted with grimey basslines while vibrating percussion shoots all the way up to the canopies.

In Norse mythology, the Yggdrasil tree connected the many realms of the universe, linking gods, giants, and mortals. Here, Undrwght connects his many musical influences to draw in listeners whatever their natural or supernatural status.
