Sonic Explorations follows the journey of Scionaugh as he adventures through the plane of infinite possibility, in an attempt to realise his own sonic identity. The EP begins as he traverses sludgy swamps thick with atmosphere, encountering a variety of creatures. Some scuttle in and out of existence, while others stay to tell a story with their growls and gurgles. Traversing this land of metallic clicks and thumping kicks, he enters a darker world, one in which the sounds bombard his senses. He stumbles across instruments that are recognizable yet warped and twisted, like the memory of a dream that is familiar though bizarre. The whisperings of alien entities combine with a playful cacophony of squelches, screeches and sirens to create the engaging journey that is Sonic Explorations.
