Hey Tristan, I've been following your production for a while now and really impressed with a lot of the songs that you've put out, but this set you posted happened to be the first set that I ever listened to of yours. I only Repost on SoundCloud when I really love something, and I must say that your style just really hits the spot for me in so many ways.. it's a perfect combination of dirty, fun, trippy, bassy, bouncy, dubby, and use of vocals! Actually would love to see you live, I bet you bump so hard on a good system, best of luck to you my friend please continue to keep up the great work! ◾Real Name: Juan Sanchez-Casanova

◾Current city: Greenville, SC

◾DJ Collective: DJ Casanova

◾How did you come up with your dj name: I used my last name, Casanova, and it sounded good so I kept it. 

◾How and when did you get into djing: I first got into DJing when I was a sophomore in college. Me and my roommates were living in a house and we threw parties often so I became our house DJ (no pun intended). After awhile of doing that I got involved at local college bars and the rest is history. 

◾Who are your musical influences and what is your inspiration: My musical influences are as diverse as it can be. I take inspiration from all kinds of genres and artists. A few of my biggest ones are Kanye West, Dom dolla, Vintage Culture, Chris Lake, and Green velvet  

◾Describe your sound as a DJ: I would say I am still trying to find my sound, but I love tech and latin house music with a passion and play that the most. 

◾What does the future hold in store for you as an artist: I plan on focusing more on my production and releasing some edits/remixes this year. I also plan on releasing my first House single.

Years ago, you could find Dark Heart in the office, working his days and nights away as a talent agent in Hollywood, but he found a passion for creating electronic music and hasn't looked back after jumping careers. Since then, he's delivered original tunes and remixes on labels, including Axtone, Circus, Proximity, Smash The House, Spinnin', and more, while taking the stage to showcase his skills behind the decks.

Last year, Dark Heart released two banging house tunes, "Get Down Low (Dip)" with Mia Marvelous and "Under The Milky Way" with Jem Cooke, on Helix Records. These tracks featured quality production and vocals, but it was only the beginning for him on the imprint as this year saw him grace it once again with the release of "Check That List." This time around, Dark Heart looked to UK-based singer-songwriter Bipolar Sunshine to lend his talents to the track, which is a perfect addition to your playlists this spring and summer.

To get everyone in a proper groove and ready for all the dancing ahead during the rest of the festival season, Dark Heart swung by with a mix that's filled with pure heat. Some of the producer's own tunes and unreleased gems are found within the hour-long runtime, with Dark Heart stating, "I've been putting together a bunch of new music since the end of 2022, and I'm excited to share some of it in this mix!" Other curated tracks from the likes of Grigoré, Eze Ramirez, Joris Voorn, Joone, and more bring additional depth to make it dancefloor-ready.
