This the first in a series of volumes released by Aquarium Studios, out of North Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA.  Co-operated by Tristan Hendy and Rich Agren, Aquarium Studios is studio dedicated to the open creation of . . .whatever we feel like!   And with whoever we feel like!

For this volume, we made an instrumental piano, indie-rock album, with a heavy focus on the piano and drumming.  Awe for Adara is lifted from a yet unreleased Bullet Made Statues album, which is currently being mixed at Aquarium Studios.  The song fit so well in this record that we couldn’t help but include it, and make sure you check out Bullet Made Statues!

Aquarium Studios - Vol 2 - Piano Indie Electronic

This is 27 minute long song written and recorded in January of 2017 by Sam and Sarah Gotley of Broken Bones Matilda and their LA rocker and producer friend Tristan Hendy.  Written, performed, recorded, mixed, produced, and pre-mastered all in ONE night.   What had started as a simple “lets just record a song or something” turned into a big ol’ something!

Good ol’ Adam Haggar put the glorious finishing touch on this gem by mastering to vinyl for us.
