If you asked me what's consistently been my favourite regular port of call during the past decade or so, Melting Pot would immediately spring to mind. It's everything you want in a club night – a knowledgeable crowd really up for the party, a wonderful sound system, and promoted by a crew who clearly care about that attention to detail that makes a night extra special. Last Sunday was the first time I experienced the new layout at The Admiral, which is a definite improvement, giving the room even more of a club vibe. Believe me, if Melting Pot was in London it would be generally acknowledged as one of the top UK underground club nights of the modern era.

On Saturday at Further Future, legendary English DJ and producer @gregwilson stepped up to the decks at Void Village for a rare US appearance that explored soundscapes in the worlds of disco, funk, and electro to round out a magical and unforgettable set.
