From what we know based off of fans/band members on Skate Punk Memories comment section and a biography for the band written by Rovi Stanton Swihart, we know the hardcore / melodic skate punk band Mr. Yuck was formed in Houston, Texas, in 1994 by Taylor Neese (guitar, mandolin), JP Garland (guitars), Mike Hintze (vocals) and Wes Staub (Bass Player). After losing Staub, Paul Better filled in his spot on and Sam Young joined on drums which then started their legacy by playing live shows before releasing any original music.
A member on the blog site Skate Punk Memories by the username of ‘peinti’ found a Mr. Yuck Demo CD-EP released in 1998 titled ‘The Price of Purity’ which you can now find on discogs and unfortunately we were not fortunate enough to have this user rip the CD to the internet which leaves us only with 1 Mr. Yuck album to stream. However, an anonymous user on Skate Punk Memories said that the band had two releases in the 90’s titled ‘Ken the Fisherman’ (LP) and ‘Curb Surfing’ (EP) both of which cannot be found.
Their debut record ‘Warm Up’ was released January 1st 2000. After the release, Mike Hintze (vocals)found out that he was to be sent to Venezuela to complete two years of missionary work in order to fulfill his calling.
As 2000’s were opening, Mr. Yuck morphed into FLYNN, with Young and Garland the only original members left in the project. Vetter, a recent member of Mr. Yuck,  joined local band Fat Chance.
FLYNN and Fat Chance cannot be found online, however Sam Young later on joined another skate punk band by the name of Crash 81.
