Dance floor specialist Gus McKinna has been rising through the ranks in the DJ scene of late with thumping sets that many would highly recommend seeing. Co-Founder of Melbourne’s Hottest new night, turbo 322, Gus has recently debuted at Revolver Sundays along with playing sets at well known parties such as Dr Daytime & Raglan presents as well as Headline shows at North/side. After the release of his latest debut EP 64-G, Gus has been working on his production and plans to release some fresh tracks very soon.

In this mix, Gus has given an absolute hour of powerful of tunes. From 90s rave stabs to juicy edits, Gus makes sure to have put as many fellow Melbourne DJ friends in the mix as well as his own as he believes its essential to showcase local talent.

Hot off a fiery Rinse FM link up with Steel City Dance Discs and highlight sets at Let Them Eat Cake, Smalltown and HÖR Berlin, Melbourne/Naarm staple Bella Claxton today unveils her debut EP ‘My Joy’, out now via Made of Momentum. 

Announcing her arrival in signature Bella Claxton fashion, the DJ/producer pushes the tempo with thunderous precision on the opening ‘Can You Feel It’. Comprised of hypnotic vocal chants, cascading drums and a pulsating baseline, the Naarm upstart runs it up for a hard dance groove that sets the soul alight. The power continues on the title track as Bella delves into her soul bag for a vocal-driven thumper that’s primed for all lovers of ‘90s rave, with the hook ‘You can’t control my life’ helping to transcend listeners into the fourth, fifth, & sixth dimensions. The third cut, the much-awaited ‘Can’t Stop Me’, sees Bella push her production chops into overdrive as she encapsulates the momentum defining her meteoric rise to prominence. Rounding things out with the emotive ‘You And I’, Bella hurtles to the finish line with high-octane synths, vocal loops & an explosive percussive breakdown as she cements herself, and the ‘My Joy’ EP, as a force to be reckoned with on the global dance scene.
