YUUL KIN en el idioma maya, significa rayo y sol, el cual transmite la transcendencia del día. El rayo de sol indica el inicio, siendo una guía para poder encontrar nuestro camino a través de la música.
La música es un idioma universal, nos permite contar historias mediante un lenguaje que a todos nos hace viajar y sentir cada momento en función a la transición de los sonidos, el presente.

Este EP representa el paso cenital que nos acompaña en nuestro paso por la armonía solar y así mismo nos muestra que vamos de camino al futuro sin perder nuestras raíces.

YUUL KIN in the Mayan language, means ray and sun, which transmits the transcendence of the day. The sunbeam indicates the beginning, being a guide to find our way through music.
Music is a universal language, it allows us to tell stories through a language that makes us all travel and feel each moment based on the transition of sounds, the present. This EP represents the zenithal passage that accompanies us in our passage through solar harmony and likewise shows us that we are on our way to the future without losing our roots.

Happy to present the new Album by our resident artist @palmadulce! "Sintoma" brings us 8 tracks, with remixes by @tha_guts and @sp00kyfish

Palma Dulce is a project by Clayton Borges, a 24-year-old music producer, born in the Cerrado, in the heart of Brazil.
The passion for the idea of synthesizing sounds came at a very young age, fiddling with guitar pedals and building noise boxes, always flirting a lot with the domination of sound technologies. Doing live acts or DJing, he always carries synthetic timbres, ethereal textures and emotionally sculpted chords.

Sintoma (Symptom in portuguese) is a collection of downtempo/slow-house tracks that were made at different times during the pandemic.
All of them are about particular experiences of affection and mental health, that intersects with the lives of many at that moment. In this completely liquid and diffused period, Palma Dulce broke a 4-year addiction to pharmaceutical amphetamines. Since then, the mind remains volatile at all times. 
"The transformations are so fast I can't keep up. Is my suffering a virtue, or a symptom of my relationship with the world?"

Palma Dulce é um projeto de Clayton Borges, produtor musical de 24 anos, nascido no Cerrado, no coração do Brasil.
A paixão pela ideia de sintetizar sons veio muito cedo, brincando com pedais de guitarra e construindo Noise Boxes, sempre flertando muito com a dominância da tecnologia sonora. Fazendo live acts or discotecando, ele sempre carrega timbres sintéticos, texturas etéreas e acordes esculpidos por emoções.

Sintoma é uma coleção de músicas downtempo/slow-house que foram feitas em momentos diferentes durante a pandemia.
Todas são sobre experiências particulares com condições e saude mental, que interagem com a vida de muitos naquele momento. Nesse período completamente líquido e difuso, Palma Dulce venceu um vício de 4 anos em anfetaminas. Desde então, a mente permanece volátil a todo momento.

As always we introduce the person behind the music with three questions,
in this case Ben:

1) What is your favorite book to read? 
Tortilla Curtain by TC Boyle. Not only because it carries the favourite
food of my ancestors from Central America in the title but also
describes the issues immigrants are facing coming into an
industrialized, over-organised and materially wealthy society. Also a
reflection of my own personal story.

2)  If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have? Magic hugs
which turn haters into lovers, war lords into cuddle machines and
jealous folks into caring & supporting persons. 

3) What's the longest you've gone without sleep (and why)?  Some 60
hours on one of the first super enthusiastic weekends dancing in Berlin
- right from work on Friday to the bars and then 1 full 24h at Sisyphos.
Was just so happy to be alive at that time in that place. Just couldn’t
stop dancing with a big smile on my face.

We are enormously stoked to close this exhilarating year with an equally exhilarating release.

Sydka debuted on MŎNɅDɅ with his massive track "Night Creed" as we closed last year's chapter with PɅRŎUSIɅ IV V/Ʌ. Followed by his equally loved and successful track "Halcyon" which found its place on the label shortly after. His sound is unmistakable and is able to open up new spheres within the versatile downtempo genre. Sydkas productions are to the point, crisp and with a deep groove. Whoever has heard him once, will recognize him again and again.

Dark Hill comes with 3 Originals and has been enhanced with remixes from Nada, Urem, Rubén Coslada and Katabtu, which stylistically underline the release skillfully and are on a par with the originals in the finest way.

We're soul happy to have this talented artist with his groundbreaking sound script back on our side and are equally grateful for the stunning company of remixers on Dark Hill. We can't wait to have that sick sounds swirling us potently through the holidays & new years eve.
