'Le Temple de Renca' is an hommage to the Amazon rainforest - an attempt at amplifying the voices of this majestic ecosystem and its citizen.

The Renca Reserve in Brazil is one of the most diverse and untouched jungles in the world. It is now under threats of deforestation by greedy individuals, blinded by the monetary interests of the mining industry. 

« Renca reserve in the eastern Amazon is home to the indigenous Aparai, Wayana and Wajapi tribes as well as vast swaths of untouched forest, covering more than 46,000 square kilometres.

Renca contains important reserves of gold, manganese, iron and copper which until now have been available only to relatively low-level state-owned mining. Illegal miners also operate in the area.»

A HUGE thank you to our brother @armenmiran for inviting us to release on The Buddha Bar compilations this year!

This track is one of our first ever completed projects and is deeper than what we usually produce but it comes from an obsession we’ve had with ‘kamancheh’ which is a traditional Iranian bowed string instrument. So ‘Silent City’ is our interpretation around a beautiful piece written by Mr. Kalhor who is one the best musicians in Iran. <3

„Ich erinnere mich an die Idee, einen Track mit einem großen zugrunde liegenden Synth oder Baseline zu machen, der sich dann langsam zu etwas Größerem entwickeln würde“, sagt @alex_stein. Genau das war die Grundidee zu seinem Track „Gojira“, der auf @senso-sounds rauskommt.
