On the 8th EP of Istanbul based record label Mousike Records; Aykut Bilir makes the community question their relationship with nature. Earthlings, kindly asks the listener to search their path through organic percussion, groovy basslines, deep fretless guitar solos blended with impressive quotes from vegan activist Gary Yourofsky.
Two well-known names from Turkish electronic music scene; Leiurus and Omerar Nanda accompany Aykut on this journey with their remixes.

Swept away by Zigan Aldi. The ‘Odin’ EP brews with Souq Record’s traditional smoky desert flavours, evoked by Eastern instruments meeting electronica. Yet The EP is quick to cut through expectations and take a resolutely urban, robust direction: moody takeoffs, low
rumbling vocals, a guitar’s singing electricity, heady bass-lines, and enveloping darkness.

Odin flirts with melodic techno but never fully gives in to its calls, riding the tension between organic and electric. Zigan Aldi debuts on Souq with this statement EP, infused with his two homes of Eastern
Turkey and Berlin. His atmospheric narrative is three part: Odin rises, Heppnar strikes, Desert Hills simmers down. Three smouldering remixes by Iorie, Zuma Dionys and Namito land the story on softer tracks, completing the picture with elegance

In their recent album “A Twice Told Tale” Santi & Tuğçe tell timeless tales full of wonder and yearning for life despite the transience of all things. With “A Twice Told Tale – Reworks” a new cast of storytellers comes on board and takes these tales in new directions. Faithful to the heart of the original, yet full of creative spark, each new interpretation offers us new surprises. In this first chapter, Istanbul based producer Oceanvs Orientalis presents a bold, fiery retelling of “Kuyu” (The Well) which offers a peak into the deep, invisible corners of the heart, while Berlin based producer Martin Roth presents a mellow, mesmerizing retelling of “Bulut” (The Cloud) which describes the perpetual cycle of change and metamorphosis in nature.
