Berlin's Powel has been a longtime friend of Do Not Sit, releasing his first EP on the label back in 2018 and most recently remixing George X's 'Slice of Life', and performing numerous times at our club home in Miami. We welcome his return with the new four track EP, 'Back To The Beginnings'.

Created with his signature touch of elegance and rhythm, the works straddle between the deep and organic. Leading with the harmonious nuances of 'Iche Warte.' into the title track's atmospheric pulses, and followed by the vitality of 'Samba Par Ty', and rounding out with the beautiful vocal spirits of 'Whatever'.

We're honored to present you a friend and a talented artist, @Kalamanmusic. His inspirations are driven by his numerous travels around the world that have shown him the beauty of human connection and nature. Music is the path to a better world is to create communities and bonds with our intimate friends. To dance around fires together. To keep each others’ heads up and keep each other hopeful. 

“Kumaya” is for the power of friendship. We have the freedom to choose our family through the friends we make. The song breaths calmness and delicately balanced by a groovy bassline. The perfect balance for the body and the soul.

“Bengali” is on the faster pace. The soundscape captures special textured frequencies overfilled by spacial voices. It is tightly held together by a steady lowend and a driving arp.
