Born as a label, built as a party, grown as a collective and cured as an artist. Depaart’s story is not common. The production duo present three awesome original tracks on Sincopat with a great welcome back: a mind-blowing remix by the forward-thinking disco talent, Lauer.
Koi starts the fire with a super organic synth that is well and truly alive. It stands out in an unpredictable way asking to be the main character of the track. On the remix, the German talent of Lauer gives his special touch by adding more layers and different melodies into a piece of electronic music that counts with two remarkable percussion build-ups. Do it like you do is a fantastic and magical journey through electronic music. Even though it’s hard to tell the style, the common factor is smoothness and the voice of Tom Trago, who participated in this track during a crazy studio session in Madrid with the guys. What to expect from the new release of DJ and Brazilian producer @s_paniol? In all his works we hear the echoes of his sound search, his musical memory, which is a rusty big data fed by influences of classical music, Brazilian rhythms (carimbó, samba, regional music), as well as funk, soul music, jazz. and the huge cauldron formed by the sounds of the electronics drums and the sampled and synthesized tones. So we expect the enchantment!

And his ep "Sal e Sol" ("Salt and Sun") brings us this. The salt of the earth and the sun ligth burning the souls that walk on the ground. A rich metaphor that drives our auditory memory as we stroll through the sounds created by the aridity of the combination of salt and sun, laden with hope that beats and dance bring us. It gives us the opportunity to enjoy the warmth that takes care of body and soul. Paradoxically, or not, as he defines himself.

On "Human Beauty" the spanish staple @kidsimius and @tender-games join forces to create a powerful single.

Kid Simius, who is known for his production in a lot of different genres and collaboration with many well known acts like Paul Kalkbrenner, Magit Cacoon, Marteria, Siriusmo, has been shifting more toward dance music this year and with Tender Games - who celebrated a string of well received goovers in 2019 - they created "Human Beauty".

The track is a homage to 90s rave culture:  a bass-heavy, emotional track that makes you dance as well as think. Pitched vocals fuse together with a layer of synths, arps and a floating jungle break. Lyrically the song revolves around the ever shifting standards of beauty, aestethic and the fact that chasing trends is a never ending rat race.

@truecolorslabel hit double figures in style with a new EP that offers up three new cuts from @timur-sardarov. This artist is always searching out new sounds and grooves and brings ethnic influences and spiritual vibes to his productions on labels like Earthy Delights and Flying Circus.

Here he opens with the brilliantly dark and involving Full of Courage which has rolling drums that are warm and full of atmosphere, twinkling pads and searching synths. High Scheherazade then takes you on a trip into an intoxicating world of exotic synths and enacting leads that really cast their spell on you as the deep beats roll on and spine tingling vocal cries ring out. Last of all, Breaking Through The Fog is a tense cut with bold pianos layered over the rubbery drums.

This is a truly moving EP from this superb talent.

Carsten Halm is a German DJ and producer who keeps his doings very much under the radar. He started his DJ career more than10 years ago avoiding clubs playing at self organized parties in the countryside near Cologne with just two residencies. The parties got so famous that DJs like Sven Väth came to visit and hang out. This experience prepared him to understand the essence of his music production. His music has the unique quality to bring people together and experience something very positive. Now Carsten plays clubs as well but he still sticks to his roots. In 2018/2019 he released on the label Monkey League. Two of the tracks "Sonnenstrahl" and "Traumtänzer" made it in to the top positions at Beatport. "Herbstnacht" has a tribal sequence running that places you right into an open air setting at night. The track communicates perfectly the exchange of ones inner self with the things that happen around you. The track has the aura of an epic dance track which seems to defy time since it could go on forever. The flip side of the vinyl offers the track "Sternenfunkeln" in its original version and the remix version by shooting star Nils Hoffmann. The original is brooding and mysterious yet it does generate a lot of forward motion that pulls you into the track. The track could be understood as expressing the feeling of dancing below the starts catching illuminating glimpses of stars with their thermonuclear fusion happening while we are to far away to understand any of this but see the radiation into space. Nils Hoffmann’s remix is a sensitive composition with melodies that seem to glide, never touching the ground but on the other hand he has an underlying kind of tension running through the track not
unlike a current.
