Having recently produced and released new material, @key-be decided that it was about time to record a new live set. “This way I’d like to share my music and enable listeners to discover my musical universe”, says the young musician. He recorded the set in his atelier in Paris - in a basement: “I spend a lot of time there because the quietness and solitude help me express my ideas musically while going deeper into the topic.” It is vitally important for him to tell a story through his sets. “It is not only about the tracks but rather some kind of contemplation throughout the whole mix, the feelings involved, cultural inspiration and a bit of my personality”, says Keybe. “The Nomad Soul” is the result of several months full of work and learning. Seine neuen Produktionen – sie waren die Inspiration, dass @key-be ein neues Liveset aufnahm. „Ich will so meine Musik teilen und sie soll entdeckt werden“, erklärt der junge Musiker, „und so können alle in mein musikalisches Universum eintauchen.“ Als er dieses Set aufzeichnete, war er in seinem Atelier im Herzen von Paris – und zwar in einem unterirdischen Keller: „Ich bringe viel Zeit an diesem Ort, weil ich es in der Stille und der Einsamkeit schaffe, meine Ideen musikalisch auszudrücken und tiefer in die Materie vorzudringen.“ Das Wichtigste ist für ihn, dass die Zusammenstellung eine Geschichte erzählt. „Es geht nicht nur um die Tracks, sondern auch um eine Reflexion im gesamten Set, das Gefühle, kulturelle Inspirationen und ein wenig von meiner Persönlichkeit vermischt“, so Keybe. „The Nomad Soul“ ist die Frucht mehrerer Arbeitsmonate, die mehrere Phasen des Lernens von Keybe zusammenfassen. It all began right there on the playa, six years ago under the rays of the morning sun, immersed in the magic of the beautiful Robot Heart sound stage.  A community so powerful and strong, it has become the biggest inspiration for my own musical journey. The people I met, the music I heard and the feelings I had that first night have left a lasting impression and inspired me to learn a new skill and start playing and producing music.

In the modern world, traveling around the world, making countless acquaintances we get lost in this endless whirlpool of activity. We start seeking a sense of belonging, experiences that unite us and inspire to create. This is what Robot Heart does for many of us, whether you come here to dance, play or connect. 

My own experience led me to start experimenting with sound and styles, curating artists that would join us on the playa for a week and become family for life.  We grew into a amazing community, which we call White Ocean, united by our love and passion for creativity and exploration. There is nothing more inspiring for me at the moment than seeing how music can improve our lives and open our minds to new adventures and experiences. It did it for me......

It has been the greatest honor to come back to where it all started and play my set for Robot Heart's 10 year anniversary on the playa. I wish your journey to continue for my years to come:)

Hello my love,

Today is an amazing day as it marks our last day at home before we get on the road again. We love this day. Now that we got more accustomed with organising ourselves for the next travel the stress we used to feel before made way for excitement for what lies ahead and appreciation  for what you temporary leave behind.

On Saturday we team up with the L.A. rockstars from SBCLTR for the first Los Angeles showcase of The Gardens of Babylon. Los Angeles has been on the road to Burning Man for many years now and as all our friends are travelling in, we can't wait to organise this little madness on the way out. 

Find yourself in The Long Way Home-series that will guide you from your doorstep all the way to the playa. 

We start with Babylon podcast by Gab Rhome. Gab Rhome is one of the musicians that we have been following closely for the past year. After listening to this hour long wonder, we know that this first collaboration on the other side of the ocean, will be the first of many.

My experience in The Spirit Train was beyond magical. Difficult to describe in words, honestly.

I would say one of the highlights of my whole DJ career. Feeling the energy of the people bouncing on the train made me enter into a state of flow I've never experienced before. Even in the cold night of the playa, I could feel the warmth and happiness from every person, it felt we all merged into one and together we created MAGIC.
