Canto Rodado is a type of stone that has been worn smooth by erosion; or even moved to another place by a river or glacier. One of those that can be found near a lake or in the middle of a desert.
In her recordings of acoustic instruments like a very old Piano, a nylon-string guitar, a trumpet and a Tibetan bowl ideas become their own subject, striving for their very own uniqueness. Like in a dialectic process the recordings took their own identity, searching for their uniqueness, rather that merely supporting.
Structures erode and eventually become something new.
Time will be the water that shapes noises to become melodies.

Arabic words of Mazzi and the characteristic sound of space mariachi and friends combine the cosmic and mental abyssal realms with the earthly nature of human beings.

It's hard to put in words the magic of her voice, the soul and perfection of her singing, and most of all, the heritage of Portugal and Humanity that Fado music represents. We are delighted for having such piece of art and sharing it with the Downtempo Community.

Para el pueblo Mapuche, la llegada del verano o WALÜNG significa el comienzo de tiempos de abundancia, donde el sol se mantiene más tiempo en el cielo, llegan los frutos, maduran los cereales y la flora y fauna se fecunda.

Nosotros como Tchamma Yapu celebramos también la llegada de este WALÜNG, que en un año con un post eclipse representa mucho más, ya que al mismo tiempo tenemos la triple conjunción entre Júpiter, Saturno y Plutón que da paso a la nueva era de acuario, llamada la época de la nueva humanidad que todos esperamos.

Un momento preciso en el espacio tiempo para reunir a grandes exponentes y artistas emergentes del downtempo Chileno, para conformar este WALÜNG y marcar la llegada de tiempos mejores para todos juntos.

For our native peoples, the seasonal changes are very important. For the Mapuche people, the arrival of summer or WALÜNG means the beginning of times of abundance, where the sun stays longer in the sky, the fruits arrive, the cereals ripen and the flora and fauna are fertilized.

We as Tchamma Yapu also celebrate the arrival of this WALÜNG, which in a year with a post eclipse represents much more, since at the same time we have the triple conjunction between Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto that gives way to the new age of Aquarius, called the time of the new humanity that we all await.

A precise moment in space-time to bring together great exponents and emerging artists of the Chilean downtempo, to form this WALÜNG and mark the arrival of better times for all together.

Dear friends, we are delighted to present to  you our very first compilation: 'Mtsvane’ in Georgia language means Green, the color Green carries the vibration of growth, harmony, new beginnings, health, renewal, harmony, hope, peace, and environment.  Exactly one year ago we started our new year with lots of positive intentions, unstoppable musical rituals, love, endless dances, and hugs.  At that time we couldn’t possibly imagine any of the outcomes we all are dealing with right now.  An idea we are about to share with you has always been there.  We have been circling around it, and 2020 made it all more clear it was time for action.  It was time to dedicate ourselves to something bigger than all of us, and we choose to do so with what we love. 
With this movement, we’d like to spread the word into our community that we all are capable of doing more, with what we love. We believe that the only way to say thanks to our Mother Earth, who suffers so much especially last period, who has provided us home for free, trees to lay under, sunshine above us, oceans to swim in, and the moon to guide us at night; is to leave something after us. 
We will transfer all the revenue for global reforestation. 
We have teamed up with  a non-profit organization,
 ‘’One tree planted’’. 
 After collecting the revenue for the planting season,  everyone involved in this project will choose a region and every dollar will plant a tree.  
( NORTH AMERICA, LATIN AMERICA, EUROPE, ASIA, AFRICA, THE PACIFIC. )

The duo @zenabu-firuzabadi bring us a luminescent chant directly from  Belo Horizonte (Brazil). The travel of this story starts in 2017 where “Uma Rosa” has been recorded by Felix Blumeduring during an Amazonian ritual. The voice is from Pamela’s cords, a sister of the community “Fraternidade Kayman”; the breath, instead, are from the priest who was taking care of the ceremony, Paï Pierry. The remixes are in the hands of two well known and “local” masters @lukasendhardt and @mmakossa enriching the experience with their futuristic percussion, leading bassline and amplified landscapes. We are so grateful for the chance to combine all these alchemic elements and to share this mystic and shamanic journey with all of you.
