Les champignons dans leur forme visible à l’œil nu, ne sont que les fruits temporaires d’un organisme invisible. Bien souvent symbiotes, ils fonctionnent en osmose avec une autre créature sylvestre, formant ensemble un équilibre de partage. Les champignons sont aussi appréciés pour leurs propriétés de décomposeur naturel, leurs vertus purificatrices autant sur les corps que sur les esprits.

The ACOLORA FAMILY est très heureuse de vous présenter FUNGUS, sa première compilation ambient, regroupant XII tracks des membres de l'équipe ainsi que de quelques gentils amis des villes et des champs.

Avec "Champignons” comme terreau de cette recherche sonore collective, les artistes se sont emparés de tout ce que le règne fongique peut évoquer : les macro, micro, nano créatures, les mangeables autant que les toxiques, les parasites, les psychédéliques, ceux mijotant dans nos soupes et potions... Les morceaux, produits comme des sortilèges sonores, invoquent les forces positives et régénératrices de la psyché.

L’ordre des morceaux suit le cycle naturel de vie des êtres, leurs temps d’abondance, de mort, de renaissance puis de renouveau.

As I am doing a 2-hour radio show every Friday morning on our station Radio 80000, I am only recording Mixes apart from that irregularly. And if so I do them at home and just play records that I am recently listening to. I like divers styles and get rather bored by mixes that ride the same beat and tempo train all trough. I did this recording on a Thursday night and only tried to have a certain tempo „dramaturgy“ starting with rather slow pieces and climbing up the ladder during that hour and a bit. 

I tried to combine music from our radio community as well as pieces from all over both new and old. Most tracks are drum focused, that probably could be seen as the red thread if there is one.
