Rings Around Saturn ( @rdjm0 ) aka Rory McPike presents number ninety two. Rory has been a pillar of the Melbourne scene for almost a decade, having released music under various aliases including Dan White with dreamy dnb, Bleekman with glitchy minimal, and of course his current project, an incredible blend of electro, breaks and tempo spanning sounds. 

With releases on labels including Butter Sessions, Paper Cuts, brokntoys, and Pure Space, the evolution of his sound is a poignant representation of the ebbs and flows of Melbourne's sound. He also DJs and plays live - his live set at Inner Varnika this year was a huge standout for me.

A catalogue of shows on AAJA and 1020 Radio, has seen guests such as Amsterdam’s Lolo Batten and London’s Coral. As well as guesting on Netil Radio and Operator station. Her presence behind the scenes goes further than just the Dj booth - co-founded Club Neptune, a party "run by friends for friends", hosting talks with charities such as “bubble club” to make spaces more inclusive.

in @djwiggles words: "This mix was inspired by the undulating frequencies of the universe, and the connection between earth and space. I wanted the mix to feel like a journey from the earths core, through whomping frequency sounds to textural forest sounds, then slowly building into a tense and rolling trip through the atmosphere until you reach a new planet, when calm and dreamy sounds are restored."

FABiOLA is a Miami based DJ/producer with roots in Detroit. Her sound explores new and origins of dance music, with depths of acid and bass. She is known to have a versatile style and love for funky robotic rhythms. She recently joined forces with other local DJs to run Juicy Fruit - a monthly queer dance party on Miami Beach. Regardless of time or space, FABiOLA invokes a Midwest flair to every set.

Mor Elian began DJing at parties even before she was strictly old enough. That was back home in Tel Aviv, and since then she has spent time in Berlin and Los Angeles. She now has also settled into her role as one of electro's most vital artists thanks to head-turning EPs on Delft and most often her own Fever AM, as well as recently minting Cinnaman's brand new Visible Spectrum with her Clairvoyant Frog EP. The strong independent spirit she has had since her youth led Mor to setting up LA-based party Into The Woods, and right now the music she makes and plays is just as singular as the artist herself. 

This mix proves that across 90 thrilling minutes which take in many different, futuristic blends of techno and electro. There's trippy sci-fi stuff for the afterparty, dark, strobe lit bangers for the peak of the night and deeper, more stripped back sounds to keep you in the zone. The tunes race by at high speed but also come stuffed with the sort of details that keep your mind in overdrive as you ride the rugged rhythms on the seat of your pants. Strap in.

Originally hailing from Scotland, @perkopair debuted on Numbers in 2018 combining a specifically British soundsystem/bass sensibility with some deeper European styles on the NV Auto EP. Now based in Copenhagen, he’s recently returned to Numbers marching out more meticulously-crafted works of experimental drum and bass and barebones left-field techno by the slightest of means. Included in this mix we have “Some new stuff, some forthcoming stuff, and some records that I’ve bought recently at Discos Paradiso, 313vinylcollective and Percy Records."
