After a succession of well received appearances on compilations, House Violence - born in Kyoto and Tokyo-based – makes his first appearance for Canada’s Yung Dumb label with a versatile four tracker.  Said to be characterised by “the hybrid sound”, namely using old school gear & modern software, the likes of  ‘Lucy Time’ and ‘Eusthenopteron’ (named after the prehistoric fish that made it out of the water and on to land) shows a love of classic deep house grace and shimmer, techno inventiveness and UK garage swagger. Nice.

Producer and DJ Front Bench spends most of his time behind the scenes of 199, a label and club night he founded in the north of England that has since made its way to London. In the years that followed, he used the platform to showcase a broad range of his own productions, varying between club bangers and melodic home listens, and earning features in Mixmag, Trommel and Houseum. 

Now, with a residency on London-based Aaja Radio and a thriving digital release series both in full swing, Front Bench is dialling in on a refined club sound. Hinging on an electro-tinged take on techno and breaks, he pulls together sounds old and new across dense, rolling sets that combine atmosphere and groove.

Through her involvement in the electronic event, festival and club culture in Rhein-Main, including working for Cosmopop, @etiennettereimann came into contact with various established artists who inspired her. In 2018, she decided to start mixing music herself and moved to Berlin in 2021. There, she plays under her first name, which also serves as her artist name, at venues like Renate, Sisyphos and Humboldthain, as well as performing at festivals such as the Feel Festival. For the past two years, she has been a resident member of the Berlin collective Diskolusion which regularly hosts its own events in Berlin. Her mostly energetic DJ sets are characterized by a fusion of Deep and Minimal House, UK Garage and Breaks, with a strong emphasis on groove and emotional depth. Since 2022, she has been working at Elevate record store, led by Cinthie, which has influenced her sound and ignited her passion for vinyl. In addition to her primary focus, Etiennette also displays an interest in other music genres like Dub Techno, Ambient and diverse Electronica, which is reflected in her various music projects.

As Klasse Wrecks enters the second chapter of our century of releases, we're happy to welcome the sounds and skills of Nicola Cruz to the roster. 

The Ecuadorian producer masterfully turns in a perfectly tuned handful of tracks for his 'Data Passenger' EP, the overiding soundscape being one of Electro, Breaks and infiniteless cosmic exploration. 

Sonically the tracks are as much for the soles as they are the souls, a heady mix of intricate rhythms and vibrations await the listener and dancefloor. Plug in to the console let the soundwaves carry you across the spectrum.

B2. What You Gonna Do

In 2018, Holz² emerged as a duo, but since April of this year it has been led solely by Bruna. Bru Holz displays influences ranging from the classic house and techno duo, but also draws heavily from other sources such as electro, new beat and trance. In this way, she has created a highly danceable sound, but one that encompasses the most diverse tastes for a dance floor, since its atmospheric construction is multiple and sentimental.

Holz² returns to Alataj in a rite that has become traditional here — after a podcast for the Talento column in 2021, the project is back to delight us with 372 volume of Troally. In a mix that portrays what constitutes Bruna's recent musical research, the DJ delivers just over an hour of sounds that demonstrate her clear references to the past, but with a futuristic flavor that reinforces one of Bru Holz's great skills.
