Passionate about house music since the 90s, Kaká Franco danced and later joined the booth. Determined to study and understand the musical universe of great idols such as Marshall Jefferson and Masters at Work, Kaká understood that his greatest allies would be a dense musical research and highly developed mixing techniques, and since then, he has become one of the most respected selectors in Brasil. Franco has become a national reference in house music, which's certainly the result of his intrinsic connection with the essence of the rhythm — essential classics, forgotten relics, releases from the best labels and tracks picked from the great treasure chest of dance music are a must in his mixes and this is the menu he presents in his sets, 100% on vinyl — an aficionado totally committed to the roots of house music.

And it's precisely this absolute commitment that Kaká brings once again to play at home. Kaká returns to Troally eight years after his last appearance in the column, almost 300 editions later. From volume 77 to the current one, 376, little has changed in the essence of his sound; in fact, one of his greatest assets is cultivating and maintaining it. What has changed, without a doubt, is Franco's skills, which have become increasingly refined and honed.

This exclusive mix showcases the hypnotic and cerebral sound of @ flipdevonian, an artist deeply embedded in São Paulo’s Techno scene through his event Hail The Light, while also establishing himself as a masterful selector. His sets are crafted with fast-paced beats and dense atmospheres, bridging the past and future through a fusion of organic and synthesized layers.

Lost My Keys is a live project formed in 2020 by Fabio Laham and Pedro J, whose identity has been solidifying around the acid, hypnotic, percussive, and industrial shades of Techno. Together, they lead the label Missing Objects and drive São Paulo’s independent underground scene through their party, Mind The Gap.

George Actv has been a key figure in São Paulo's underground scene since the late '90s and played a significant role in consolidating the electronic movement in Brazil. With residencies at iconic clubs like Lov.e and D-Edge, along with appearances at historic festivals and compilations on CDs, his career is defined by a deep respect for the art of vinyl and a constant search for new sounds. Here, he offers us a sonic journey that reflects his trajectory and essence, balancing House, Techno, and Electro with influences from Detroit and Chicago, while also exploring moments of breaks and acid.

Little Fluffy Clouds - Parables Minimal Trumpet Mix

Rauschhaus and Cary Crank, have once again joined forces to deliver Bekal and Tapestry of Perception, two deep, melodic, and danceable tracks that epitomize the essence of progressive house. 

Rauschhaus, hailing from Kiel, Germany, has been producing and DJing since 2010, releasing tracks and remixes on labels such as Stil vor Talent, Parquet Recordings, and Einmusika. His music is characterized by deep melodies and driving rhythms, making him a respected figure in the progressive house scene. 

Cary Crank, based in Frankfurt, Germany, transitioned to Progressive House in 2018 and has since released numerous tracks and remixes on labels like Mango Alley, Univack, Steyoyoke and his own imprints Sunexplosion and Cranking Sounds. His releases regularly chart on Beatport, reflecting his growing influence in the genre. 

Their previous collaboration, Unknown Territory, released on Forevermore in April 2024, showcased their ability to blend deep, melodic elements with danceable grooves. With Bekal and Tapestry of Perception, Rauschhaus and Cary Crank continue to push the boundaries of progressive house, delivering tracks that are both emotionally resonant and rhythmically compelling.

Eric Galaviz (Denver, CO) and Brian Varga (San Diego,CA), better known as the DJ / Producer duo Hipp-E and Halo, joined forces 13 years ago after realizing they shared many common musical interests. Even their earlier days of collaboration as H-Foundation yielded some of the most influential tracks like “Here Dis Sound” and “Tonight” from their famed “Environments LP.”

H-Foundation quickly became internationally known for their unique dub-influenced sound that transcended the house genre. What followed was a list of accolades that put them at the top of the heap as both DJs and Producers. Catapulted to fame with exposure from UK Legends Pete Tong and Carl Cox, a long standing residency at Fabric (London) and work with respected labels like Moody, Siesta, NRK and Soma have kept them in high demand on the touring front and in the studio.

After years of collaboration with great success, the duo decided to shift their focus to their individual pursuits of personal life goals.

Reinvigorated, matured and inspired by the very interests that brought them together years ago, Hipp-E and Halo are once again creating sophisticated ground-breaking sounds that will influence the direction of organic house & techno in the years to come. With releases expected on Halo’s own label Surface as well as Tsuba, One Records and Left Room the bar is raised yet again.
