After releasing a string of Various Artist 12"s La Peña is a regular in any favourite DJ’s record bag. Now it’s time for the next step.  

"After all these Various Artist EP’s i wanted to focus on one artist at a time that would  allow them to really show a spectrum as broad as possible.  

How people consume music changed in last 30 years. When i got into music in the first place it was all about the album. The full package with cover, artwork, side notes. I want to bring back that feeling in terms of programming, artwork and listening pleasure. Following the tradition of my favourite rap LP’s the tracks are all connected with skits and interludes for a full listening experience. It’s dance floor material, but the LP feel of it makes it great for home listening as well.

I am really happy to kickstart this with Fabe. I got introduced to him by a friend a few years ago and it´s crazy how this guys turns up from track to track. I think this is his strongest release so far as he really shows what he is capable of in terms of style. Super happy to have him onboard as he is one of loveliest guys around as well. Salut Fabe !!! This week we have 1/3 of Mantra Collective and 100% fantastic feline; Whitecat. Living and breathing music even when he’s not being on of those two. Whitecat is also well known to the Sydney music community for his work with Tigerstyle Agency. A lover of life and music, Whitecat is one of our favourites of the Sydney scene. 

This set was recorded at S.A.S.H. Day’s collaboration with V MoVement where Whitecat warmed up for Romanian Techno legend Priku., another hardworking an passionate music creator. Whitecat, as a founding member and resident DJ of Mantra Collective in Sydney, constantly strives to dig deeper into the music with the overarching ambition to always stay true to the groove. 

Nowadays; djing mostly on wax, he strives, alongside the rest of Mantra Collective to bring a new deeper, groove based style of music to Australia and share his passion for it wherever he goes.

Litmus' music is going from strength to strength, as he solidifies his deep minimal groovy sound on THR.  'Don't Be Shy' is his latest offering, and it's a titanic five track release!  Featuring his deep house groover 'Alright', and the synth-clad rolling vibes of 'Rubdub'.

First up on remix duties, needs no introduction... DJ W!LD delivers a late night burner.  A stripped back Tech House vibe, that slugs you in the chest when it drops and syncopates you in rhythm with its hypnotic force. 

Basti Grub takes his remix to a dreamy realm.  Slightly ominous, brooding and moody in nature, layered with piercing raspy synth action.  Trippy, and driving, and out of control all at once.

Sydney natives, Dan Baartz & Harrison Morris team up for their first release.  The guys merge their styles together nicely, and produce a groovy deep house cut.  Jubilant vibes, awash with gorgeous synth work.  Complete with the low end drive to keep the room moving.

After a long absence young French Kevin Loustau a.k.a Kyzen returns to the tasks by disclosing his outstanding new and first album.

Named 'Demention', it takes the sound ideas of the producer for an amazing selection of fresh and complex beat scapes.
In order to reach this result Kyzen has worked hard on this exciting new project for more than one and a half year now. 
Manipulating a concoction of sound bites that create tension and intrigue, the French artist has recorded some noises in the street, instruments and vocals giving a deep and unique atmosphere to the sampler. 
Kevin actually tones down his tech house influences slightly and gives us something warm and varied featuring some sounds from the jazz to the ethnic ones.

Pushing Kyzen up to the next level 'Demention' will take you on a journey through his own extraordinary musical world.
