Part of the Outcast Torino crew, Alex Dima honed his craft within the parties that this collective and their extended family have been throwing for some time. As a result of these long sessions Alex has now burst out of his native scene and onto the world circuit. Having already traversed many of Europes must attend parties and venues, he has now made the move to set up shop in Amsterdam where maintains his regular appearances at the finest parties. As well as his touring schedule bursting at the seams, his discography is also in a state of bloom. With his co-ran imprint Coordinate Records gathering pace, Alex peppers this with solo efforts of his own with the future retro four-tracker “Metamorphosis” EP on LAMAIA coming up soon.

Turning our attention back to turntables and Alex has conjured up a near 2 hour trip for our InSession series. With the soundscape taking shape across the full run time of his mix, there are more than a few twists and turns to be found along the way as the full spectrum of his musical reach continues to unfold. From the percussive beginnings, Alex soon shifts through the gears which stops off at synth heavy house, bass focused electro, vintage breaks, and pretty much everything in between. Sticky Plastik label boss Marcelina has been carving her name into the fabric of Europe’s underground scene for some time now.  With an impressive collection under her belt & a fine tuned ear for rare and unusual digs, Marcelina’s sets build an  expressive journey that takes you seamlessly through everything from timeless tech house & minimal to heavy hitting Techno & Dark Disco.  

Her sets have gained notoriety from at some of the UKs leading venues & festivals such as Fabric, Printworks, Progress Centre, Gottwood & more while making waves  further afield at Berlin’s CDV, La Peniche Cinema in Paris, travelling as far as Ecuador &  Dominican Republic, as well as China and South Korea to share her sound.  

Now, having moved to Poland, Marcelina continues to spread her sound and fuel her desire for electronic experimentation.

In recent years, Lazer Man has flooded the Lyon scene with great music through these projects, regular parties, and dj performances around the city and beyond. With already a few releases under his belt as Lazer Man or his other moniker Heymil on top of that (Howl Records, Funk'on..), he has proven that he is truly a complete and dedicated producer and DJ.

Frenchman Daïf is an artist who needs careful consideration and has been on the lips of many of the tastemaking outfits for some time, but it is time for him to receive some much-needed time in the sun. Via his own Luminaere imprint as well as two exceptional outings on Art of Dark, Daïf continues to tread a path less worn and this is very much to his benefit. He is a well-known figure on the world scene and is regularly off on his travels past and upcoming gigs taking him to Asia, South America, and all around Europe.

It is evident why he maintains such a high work rate as his flip on muscular house packs a hell of a punch while still keeping that funk running throughout his robust grooves. From the opening track of his InSession recording Daïf tasks no prisoners and makes great use of shortened percussion, room-filling atmospherics, and basslines that could raise the dead. We are confident you will keep coming back to this mix and discover gem after gem.

This week we welcome Cap to the mix series. Schooled in the world of Romanian minimal and house, these-days you'll often find him behind the scene's most revered booths and parties from Club Guesthouse to NYC's ReSolute and Amsterdam's VBX but to name a few.

A hypnotic DJ, he possess depth, groove and impressive musical breadth, sliding between house, techno, minimal and plenty more with mischievous ease.  He spins at Dimensions for the first time this summer, and if this classy 80 minutes is anything to go by, we're in for a serious treat.
