Podcast №8 for the Svyatki team was recorded by Matpri from St. Petersburg @prosaic_music. One and a half hours of microhouse sound. There were used: vinyl only, Technics  1210 mk II, Vestax PMC 06 Pro and Ortofon DJ mk I. Matpri has released dozens of quality works as part of vinyl and digital releases on labels such as Hoarder, Slowdymowdy, Heisenberg, Kina, Deep in You, Wellness, etc. His own label Prosaic music, which released the artist's first release in 2018, is also well-known.

Having recently delved into the realms of digital, the highly regarded Elephant Moon label returns back to wax. With John Dimas at the helm, it is no surprise these records have become somewhat sought after. This catalogue of colours has become a firm fixture in the discerning record collectors library. The latest in the spectrum comes from Herbert Vincent, stepping up to release his first vinyl only.

Although little is known of the artist, Vincent’s introduction to the scene comes in the form of a well-primed package. His Genuine EP is packed with five originals, a showcase well worthy of a debut.

It’s October, which usually means we get to celebrate ADE.

Since this is obviously not happening, we felt like stepping up and showing some love to the artistic talent of our scene in a different way. Obviously our beloved scene, and the entire industry surrounding it, has been hit disproportionately hard by measures related to the Corona virus. 

The VBX CODE project is our first real step into the world of Bandcamp, after having made our back catalogue of releases available digitally not too long ago. VBX CODE is going to be a series of digital only samplers,  available through our Bandcamp page. The tracks featured represent the VBX vibe as well the kaleidoscope of sounds we love and miss so much.

All of the profit made of these tracks will be divided equally and exclusively across the artists involved.This means we won’t be taking anything as a label, in the hope that our platform will amplify the reach of the creators involved.

We are all in this together and we will get out of it together!
