Pan J - Eternity Is Past

French label Brombért Records may be only two releases deep into their manifesto to bring quality music to the people but they have already made quite an impact. Like their first label foray with Littlelake on the dials, their mature sound with serious flecks of soul and attitude in equal measure shines through again. This time around it is label boss Thors Tvøllmären aka Himbert that takes control of the sounds on his four tracker ‘Old Banger’ EP. Like all good records there is an interesting story about how the release was written and so the story goes that Thors packed his gear into a campervan and set off on a trip that would ultimately result in the EP that you now listening to. CSV02 - KOSH - Null 212

For the third Holding Hands release they have decided to up the pressure even more with two ridiculous dance floor slammers.

Aunt Wendy’s Wedding In Wales is the sort of track that sends dance floors completely nuts. Breakbeat grooves and behemoth bass lines rock any sound system you choose to let it loose on. The tune is inspired by the sounds of Oblong and Plank records but don’t worry, it’s not just a throwback record. As usual Holding Hands has an eye on the best of the past whilst staring straight into the future.

I C Jangles is a collaboration between Desert Sound Colony and Baby Rollen (one half of Voyeur) The only word you can really use to describe this tune is ‘stinker!!!’ Somewhere between 2step, grime and house is where it sits, and it could fit into any set of those genres without a doubt. It was written on one of the hottest days of the summer and for that reason the background is littered with the refreshing sounds of the drinks being poured in the studio. Essential play for when you need a little hydration.

Both tracks are produced and sculpted for the club. They want big sound systems and dark rooms.

Close your eyes, hold hands and experience transcendental space flight…

For this @DarkScienceElectro premiere, we look to @2020visionrecordings for a brand new release from @kosh212

Kosh exploded onto the electro scene in 2018 with his debut release ‘Null 212’ on @csvoyager records. The track that received the most attention was ‘Catch The Train’ with it’s faultless modern take on classic Detroit electro reminiscent of @cybotron-official and Aux 88. It became a big track for 20/20 Vision founder Ralph Lawson who quickly invited Kosh to record for the label.

‘Vicious Love’ is a diverse 4 track EP showing off the Moroccan producers faultless production skills with the A-side featuring ‘An Arab in Space’ that continues to bring the classic sound of Detroit up to date.
