Viata pentru suflete Organizations with the help of Feldioara City Hall are delivering yet another charitable 4-hour set provided by Prichindel b2b Mera b2b Los Bastoneros. This time we want to help the women and children at risk in the rural areas of Romania by teaming up with our friends at Caravana cu Medici - The Branch of Brașov, helping them to organize a medical caravan in the Feldioara area, dedicated to women's health and pediatric care, providing free pediatrics and gynecological consultations to women and children and also provide screening tests for cervical cancer and breast cancer by Pap testing and breast echography.

Suciu, still at the ripe age of 27, has already made his name onto a few superb labels, with Body Parts and Pressure Traxx both investing in his bouncier, boppier take on Romanian minimalism. Here at MEOKO we have been lucky enough to get our hands on a mix recorded live at Avi from the man himself, featuring some sick unreleased material and a whole bunch of killer, dubby tech as well. Although at first his mixing seems a bit rogue, it isn't too long until you appreciate the creativity behind Suciu’s style, constantly chucking in new, sludgy baselines for moments of genius - resulting in a tremendous mix which truly ebbs and flows. Get yourself ready for some super subby rollers, twisty bleeps, plenty of spoken vocals and sexy hat drops with this wicked 97 minutes from Suciu.

It has been five years since we launched the podcast series and to celebrate, we will be releasing x5 special edition mixes from selected artists over the course of the next couple months starting with none other than Barac. After a long period of time at the top of his game, known for his intricate and high quality productions,on the likes of Pressure Traxx, Meander, and Midi Records. His intelligent and smooth sound is loved by many all over, whether moving the dancefloor in one of the best clubs in the world either mixing or one of his fantastic live sets, or it could be a lengthy journey on the beach in his native country Romania. There is something so special when this man enters the room with an ability to grasp the listener, allowing them to indulge in the variations of sound he has prepared. It is with our greatest pleasure, that we can offer you this tasty cut from Barac's set live from Robert Johnson, in Frankfurt, back in January 2016 for a Presure Traxx showcase. Famous for its intimate vibe, and incredible sound system, to nobody's suprise, Barac steps up to the occassion with low swung minimal grooves lifting the atmosphere, accompanied by his signature curious movements of abstract sounds adding to the story the Romanian is telling. Pressure Traxx are known for their ability to extend much further than what meets the eye, there is no 'same sound', and this is why the wizard we like call Barac fits the bill like no other. A steady motion in to the trip, whether listening in your house, walking to work, or driving in your car, you will be absorbed in to the sounds you are hearing gaining an insight to the tight knit intimacy of Robert Johnson, and what Barac had to offer on the night. 2007 is when Sunwaves Festival made its 1st link to a set date and it's celebrated every time since. 1st of May has become an international anthem for a festival long enough to gather people all around the world with one sole purpose: a memorable party where music never stops.
While we can't meet our community on the Black Sea shore this spring, we felt to not let this one pass without trying to reconnect even from our homes.
Sunwaves Festival will go live, with a 24 hours live stream powered by Desperados, partly streamed from Sunrise HUB.
We may skip the usual debut of summer but we'll deliver the same energy by bringing the Sunwaves vibes in your living room.
We do miss you.
And we'll see each other again stronger than before.

ここ近年、世界でミニマルハウスシーンを語る上ではルーマニアという街は決して欠かせないシーンになっていることは、ここ日本のアーティストの誰もが感じていることだろう。
毎週日本のレコードショップでも、そのルーマニアのアーティストやレーベルが必ずというほど入荷され、必ずというほどその週には売り切れ状態になる。その火付け役となったレーベルが Raresh、Petre Inspirescu、Rhadoo の3名からなる [a:rpia:r] だ。彼らがワールドワイドに台頭していく中、驚くほど若き才能が彼らに継いで生まれていった。
中でも Praslea というアーティストが取り上げられるだろう。彼はすでにルーマニアシーンでは欠かすことのできない存在であり、地元ブカレストでも幾度も Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Ritchie Hawtin, Zip といったビッグネームと共演を果たしていった。そして、Gig を重ねていく間、盟友 Cezar と 「Afumati」 というプロジェクトをスタートさせ [a:rpia:r] からスプリット EP をリリース。また、彼自身と Kozo、Cezar でスタートさせたレーベル 「UNDERSTAND」 から1st EP として Raresh とのプロジェクト、Praslesh で"Out Of Time"をリリース。たったこの2枚のリリースでルーマニアだけではなく、今ではヨーロッパ各国からのオファーが絶えない存在に成長した。
